We all know the cowboys like to draft the guys they’ve had a chance to meet with. Here’s a mock trying to put as many of them together as a possible in a way that makes sense.

19- Calvin Ridley WR Bama
**Trade picks 50, 137, and 208 for picks 68 and 80 from Houston
The thinking behind this trade is that Houston doesn’t have a 1st or 2nd round pick and they see a guy they really like sitting there at 50. They use their 2 3rds to move up for that player while also getting 3 picks back to help their depth in this draft.**

80- Darius Leonard LB South Carolina St
81- Nathan Shepherd DT Fort Hays State
116- Cole Madison G Washington St
**Trade picks 192 and 193 for pick 160**
160- Durham Smythe TE Notre Dame
171- Akrum Wadley RB Iowa
236- Tre Williams LB Auburn

Smythe and Tre Williams are the only guys we didn’t have some sort of connection with. Williams I just threw in as a ST LB, could be replaced with any name. Smythe is a big Y TE that blocks like an o lineman...I’m almost positive we’ll be interested.

Yeah that definitely doesn’t fit the Cowboys m.o., I’ll give you that. But they have shown a high level of interest in all 3, I can’t see the FO passing on 1 of them just because they drafted a small school guy the round before. Hopefully...
