Really? You sure?

positive...

philly wins they are 2 seed...period

If Dallas wins and

minn wins we play philly in dallas
if minn loses and az loses dallas gets 2 seed
if minn loses and gb loses we play gb in dallas..

those are ALL the scenarios for dallas..NO PHILLY in PHILLY!!!!!

I cannot see the Giants having any incentive whatsoever to even show up against the Vikings....in fact, I see them having a reason to lay down and take the loss......cause it would screw 2 of their biggest rivals at the same time, Dallas and Philly.
It's hard to imagine, but at least we'll know before our game (or very early in it) whether we've still got a shot at the 2 seed.

Negative. If Philly wins, we'll be the wildcard, we won't host any game.

where do you see a scenario where philly wins and we are hosting a game in my post?

philly AND dallas both CANNOT win next week...at least i dont think so.......;)

that loss by Minnesota GUARANTEES dallas will NOT be traveling to Philly round 1...PERIOD...that was HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE for dallas...

Don't wanne piss on your parade but that loss by Minni doesn't guarantee anything.

give me a scenario in which we play at philly round 1?

what dont you guys understand? only way philly hosts a game rd 1 vs ANYONE is if they WIN the division..only way they WIN the division is if they beat dallas next week..if philly wins next week they are the 2 seed....PERIOD

Not including ties, it does guarantee exactly what he said.

If Minnesota does in fact lose tonight then next week sets up like this.

Giants win over Minnesota
Dallas over Philidelphia
Arizona over Greenbay

1. New orleans
2. Arizona
3. Dallas
4. Minnesota
5. Philadelphia
6. Greenbay

Sure would beat playing phili 2 weeks in a row. But it all hangs on Chicago finishing this off some how.

That would also mean that if we won, we'd get Arizona in round two, which is by far the best matchup to have.

My top pick would be to get the bye ourselves, but a close second is that scenario right there that you lay out.

I sure wish the Packers had something to play for.

The Giants at least have their pride. The Packers would be playing for the difference between the 5th and 6th seed? That's almost meaningless.

I wonder how stupid the NFL feels now for scheduling Bungles vs. Jets for SNF now?

That Cowboys/Eagles game is now for the bye as well as the division.

The Packers would know that a win means they'd stay in Arizona, and a loss means they'd come to Dallas.

But I don't think the Giants show up next week anyway.

That is sooooo key now.

If we beat the Eagles, I'd have no fear playing them in our house the very next week.

But if we happen to lose, the last thing I'd want is to go into the Linc the following week.

Now if, gawd forbid, we lose this weekend, we'd play either the reeling Vikes or the Cardinals in our home-away-from home in Arizona. Both much better alternatives to playing in Filthy.

absolutely man...no chance playing in philly rd 1...HUUUUGE...I am so pumped right now

I would rather AZ lose too and get the bye than play Philly again.

Wouldn't this be the perfect scenario?

Giants win over Minnesota
Dallas over Philidelphia
Greenbay over Arizona

1. New orleans
2. Dallas (11-5)
3. Minnesota (11-5)
4. Arizona (10-6)
5. Philadelphia (11-5)
6. Greenbay (11-5)
