Perhaps Micah's worse game ever

Or vice-versa. That first GB drive was too easy, it stunned all of us. I'm sure it stunned them too.
Would have been 3rd and 13 from the 22. Penalties were the problem on the opening drive. Should be able to come out fired up behind a noisy home crowd and get off the field the first series.

Parsons had a bad game.. but he was schemed, actively schemed, against by GB. They literally set up their entire offensive game plan to take Micah out of the game.

Also he is a pass rusher.. and trying to play against an offense that was in cruise mode from 10 minutes into the first quarter.

I also think he actually does care.. some sideline shots of him during the game showed he was fuming. I would agree he probably dropped his head early and didn't recover.. I think he could see a golden opportunity slipping away and didn't do anything about it.

If you think Parsons is our biggest problem.. I feel sorry for you. We do need a secondary plan for him if they take away his rushing lanes.. and we need to have more help in coverage for sure. We also need to use him smarter and more limited snaps during the season as he does appear to tire as the season wears on.

He had a bad game.. I'd still re-sign him but I could also see he is one of the few players with real trade value if we want to pull the trigger to go and find our franchise QB.

When does he come up big in big games? This shouldn't have even been a big game, this was against a 9-8 team at home.

You can't pay him 30 million a year just for him to wear down late in the season, but they will.
I agree! He’s a force just like our QB against weaker opponents! But when good teams & good players step up, he’s a no show! He’s not a true linebacker & while he’s good at times rushing the passer, he’s too light to blow through great tackles or well designed double teams! He’s not worth 30 million per season when the time comes!

I couldn't get it. A defense who thrived and prided itself on creating pressure couldn't create any all game....and they never adjusted

who cares he's a leader like our other leader and gets as much done as the other loser leader. Trade that mofo out of here.

Yep, GB planned for him, then within 15 mins the game was over 27-0 and they were able to run at will. This is the annoying part of this deflected view blaming the defense without acknowledging that our Offense couldnt keep up with the GB Offense.

At this rate, I don’t even think he’s worth the value of the DE franchise tag. He routinely disappears in games, especially big games. For the life of me, I can’t understand why he gets so much national praise.
Because of year 1

Let him tell it though.. “I’m going to be phenomenal,” he said. “[Expletive] phenomenal.”

Truly elite defensive players do not get erased in every single playoff matchup.
And everyone falls fit for it

Micah is a middle linebacker with pass rush ability. The Cowboys need to use him like they did his rookie season so teams can’t game plan him. Bill would use him correctly. Parsons is chasing the money so now he just wants to rush the passer.

Who on defense even played good? Right out of the box GB put the game away and Dallas never recovered. The defense was embarrassing to watch after all season being hyped up like it was great.

Oh yes they will… the lion that plays more like a house cat after the midway point.
He should shut up and just play or trade him for some players who want to play…

Micah is too small to be a full-time pass rusher. I'd much rather see a bigger front line and utilize his speed for the edges on the run. He can also be used for blitz packages. He's a LB. He's not a defensive end.
