hah We have mostly Bermuda grass up here. Most people prefer Bermuda to St Augustine, but I have to be honest. As a kid, I much preferred St Augustine grass. It was much cooler to the touch with the large blades. Not to mention it's a hell of a lot more hardy than Bermuda grass is.

Yeah, lots of Bermuda down here as well. TBH my yard started off all St Augustine for the first few years and as plants and trees grew, along came more shade and less shade in certain areas so now I really have about 1/2 bermuda, 1/4 St A and 1/4 high quality north texas dirt with a few weeds scattered in.

Lol, what a jerk! In a hilarious way. Sorry @YosemiteSam I have no idea, you might be able to start a weed killer/lawn maintenance thread and find someone who knows. I used to have a beautiful St Augustine lawn and some sort of fungus got into it this last winter and now I have half dirt half grass, it looks horrendous.

Did some electrical work on my deck. I've added the lights (with dimmer, timer, and remote control) and several outlets around the deck. (one under the table allowing outlets on the table)

I attached Sheppard's Hooks to the deck for hanging the lights. I also have stereo bluetooth outdoor speakers for sound.

We used it for the first time last night for a BBQ with some friends.

Ballin’! What was your choice of grillin’ tunes? Flippin’ some chicken to Dead Skin Mask?

Brazilian BBQ with a bunch of Brazilians ladies shouting what have you in Portuguese to each other! (they just keep screaming louder and louder over the top of each other lol)

Due to the fact that "eu falo um pouco de portugese", I spend a lot of my time using my ham radio or another one of my hobbies when the shouting matches start lol.

Either that or the guys will go off and talk where it isn't so loud hah.

Nice pics Aria. That is one of the things I miss about Texas is the crazy sky and even more so the thunderstorms. The sky looks photoshopped here most of the time - perfectly blue, which some may like. We rarely get any thunder and lightning. Do get some nice sunsets though.

Thanks buddy! As much as I hate the DFW area I do enjoy the spring storms. As you know, they can be pretty wild. Being at work when these things hit sucks though. I was at work when I took those pics, it wasn’t long after that we were busy as hell. The entire city goes to crud with accidents, alarms, fires, etc. Kind of impressive how one storm effects so many people in the matter of minutes.
