Yeah, lots of Bermuda down here as well. TBH my yard started off all St Augustine for the first few years and as plants and trees grew, along came more shade and less shade in certain areas so now I really have about 1/2 bermuda, 1/4 St A and 1/4 high quality north texas dirt with a few weeds scattered in.hah We have mostly Bermuda grass up here. Most people prefer Bermuda to St Augustine, but I have to be honest. As a kid, I much preferred St Augustine grass. It was much cooler to the touch with the large blades. Not to mention it's a hell of a lot more hardy than Bermuda grass is.
