This is a thread for venting about anything and everything Cowboys. This thread is not for the faint at heart. If reading negative posts about the Cowboys upsets you, this is not the place for you.

The purpose of this thread is to keep us people that are considered "pessimists" to air our grievances in mainly this thread so the board doesn't get "cluttered" with our "whining."





To start off, I'm annoyed with Roy Williams. He doesn't produce at all. And he has in the past and that is what is so frustrating. That and what we gave up for him. People say,"Oh, well Romo just makes bad passes to him." Forget that. He hits everyone else on target, but he can't hit Roy. Roy runs horrible routes and is always in the wrong spot.

I'm not a pro QB by any means, but in the past when throwing to my two friends one ran good precise routes (I always hit him on target), and the other one would always be able to get open, but he was never where I expected him and I could never hit him on target. That is what Roy Williams is like.

Also, what is the deal with our end of half defense. They play well except for at the beginning of the game, and the drives to end the halves. Every time I know the opposing offense is going to move the ball at will against them in those circumstances.

For the most part I'm happy about this team, but I just needed somewhere I could vent without being told to turn in my "fan card."

meh we're on a 3 game winning streak so I don't have much to complain about. If we lose to Philly i'm sure i'll be so pissed that i'll come back and post my frustrations/emotions in this thread. but I'm hoping and thinking their's a good chance I won't have to do that. so i'm just gonna enjoy our recent victories and think positive about the next game.

I actually agree. I think we beat the Eagles too. I just needed a thread to vent about the nonperfections of the Cowboys without having to give up my "fan card."

Right now Roy is not in line with his qb, why I dunno but he needs to shut his mouth and play.

As far as the D they are playing really good right now. More often than not when they give up scores it's a combination of the O putting them in a short field or they are tired from being on the field to much. Haven't looked at the time of possession stat recently but I suspect that is improving as well.

The only thing I'm really frustrated with is how often we pass the ball, Barber playing over Choice while he is still sore, and not running more short plays...

Yeah, I hear you. I just made this thread so when we have thoughts that aren't positive we can post them here instead of in positive threads.

In all honesty I'm feeling pretty good about the team right now. I just like to post about positives AND negatives. And a lot of people don't like hearing the negatives, so that is what this thread is for.

And also I'm upset with the Roy Williams trade

I am hearing ya back and understanding it. You know, not everyone is going to follow the crowd all the time.

Being fans of a sport that has a short season, you know, we have to appreciate the good times, because no team can afford a slump in this sport.

I think after the game we might have more pessimists and we might return to fire all coaches, what was wade thinking and why is garrett still here, and bring back Stewart.

Right now i would be less on the pessimist side and more on the "lets get some guys on the right boat". Has Hurd and Bennett woken up?, will Scandrick get it together and be the force he was last season, Can we replace Hamlin?

But lets focus on the positives, as someone posted we are 3-0 against QB's named Matt, lets run with it, lets be different, lets get creative and see what happens, sure the run might be short, but for those brief moments, we were interception free.

I do hate that Roy Williams is getting overpaid and Hamlin continues to steal money, but the Cowboys are on a three game winnning streak. Alot of fans were losing hope at 2-2 but are now rejuvenated with the team being 5-2. I don't think you are going to be getting much of response right now with this team playing so well except for the 2 players I mentioned.

I didn't really create this thread to be a "We're Doomed" thread. I created it so if we see anything that is not positive ie Roy, Hamlin, 2 minute defense, etc, it can be discussed and not "ruin" other threads.

But apparently the mere presence of this thread hurts other peoples feelings :laugh2: . This last part wasn't directed toward you.
