Bridge only has an invite to this weeks minicamp, I can't see how they don't sign him once he shows his arm this weekend. He's a long shot for sure but boy do I love his measurable's, he needs intensive schooling and a really good QB coach. Sky is the limit with this kid, very very quick release, bazooka arm strength, great size and is really mobile. Hope they show some patience with this kid and he becomes the 3rd QB. This kid needs 2-3 yrs...perfect timing to have someone waiting in the wings.
I don't normally spend much time looking at QBs in the draft, but this guy is really interesting to me. His physical ability to throw the ball looks terrific. I have no idea if he can handle the mental side of playing QB in the NFL, but he didn't play many college games so he can definitely improve.
From what I've read, he takes Coaching well and is said to be intelligent. I don't think you can ask for more then that in an UDFA. I really like his upside.
I'll stay with my pet cat from before the draft:
Jones
Green
Gibson
I don't normally pay much attention to QBs, but Bridge is really interesting. He has terrific physical talent. I don't know where the reports of inaccuracy came from because in the game footage that I saw his accuracy was outstanding. He also came in 1st or 2nd in an off-season accuracy competition, I guess at the combine. He said they had to hit golf carts crossing at 20 and 30 yards and he only missed 1.
My top pet cat if probably the NFL redshirt Chris Whaley. He is like having an extra 2015 draft pick.
So who is your Pet Cat this year?
I'm going with Lucky Whitehead. I love the small school players.
Yeah, I read that too. Seems like his flaws are reading defenses and accuracy-- needs work on his mechanics. But that could be said about most qbs.
Came in 2nd at the Manning passing academy, Mariotta, Winston amongst others were there as well,
Bridge and Days
Goodley. As a Baylor alum, I am biased but I believe he can be a better WR/STs player than Harris.
