Pet Cats

Saw this story today....what a coincidence.

Owning a Cat Could Double Your Risk of Schizophrenia, Research Suggests

Chicken and the egg. I believe the crazy old lady with the 35 cats already had schizophrenia. ;)

I wouldn’t call him a “pet cat” but I did know JSN was going to be a freaking stud of a WR.

More recently my pet cats have been Randy Gregory, Ryan Flournoy, and Tommy Mellott.

The Raiders drafted Mellott and tried to turn him into a WR instead of the hyper-athletic dual threat QB he was in college. Now New Orleans is doing the same.

Wait, wut:huh:

Is this supposed to be a satire post or something, because there are a lot of facts just wrong here.

In 2013, Parnell was expected to compete for the RT job with Free, but suffered a hamstring injury in preseason and thus became the backup as a result. In 2014, Parnell started 8 games at RT, including the playoffs, after Doug Free suffered a foot fracture. Parnell left as a free agent in 2015 to Jacksonville.

And when he went to Jacksonville, "they" never won a SB. Parnell does have a SB ring however as a member of the New Orleans Saints practice squad in 2009. He never played in a single game for the Saints, but the Saints went on to win the SB after the 2009 regular season.

At no point in time did anybody beg Garrett to start Parnell over Free. Parnell was given the chance to compete, but injuries always derailed that, as well as his NFL career. He left as a free agent for Jacksonville in 2015 and suffered another hamstring injury, then a knee injury in 2017, and yet another knee injury in 2018 that ended up being a career ended. He retired from the NFL after the 2018 regular season.

He had a solid NFL career from 2009-2018, was on the active roster of three teams (Dolphins, Cowboys, Jags) and was on the practice squad of another (Saints). He played in a total of 111 NFL games, starting 64, before injuries forced his retirement. Like I said, solid NFL career, but not anywhere close to being Hall of Fame.
I wanted to see if anyone was paying attention.

He was very good in the 2014 starts.

Bill Callahan did say on camera "He deserves to be starting".
- It's a known fact that Callahan and Garrett did not like each other.

I was off and on with Grant. I am always concerned when tow DTs play next to each other in college, like Graham and Grant, their production is more about the other guy than themselves. I was higher on Nolan and Harmon than Grant in the first round, but I admit going back and forth with him.

I also think with DTs we need to give then a year or two. We may find that Grant becomes a stud and even a guy like Deone Walker turns out to be a quality DT. Walker is doing more in Buffalo already that Mazi ever did in Dallas.
I didn't want the Cownoys to draft a DT. It almost always fails for them...

Although I hate LSU, I wanted Justin Jefferson over CD Lamb. but the Big 12 fanboys on here, called me clueless.

Same with Derrick Henry over Zeke, told me he's Brandon Jacobs 2.0..

I was a big fan of Tyler Booker coming out this year. As soon as Riley and Adams were hired to the coaching staff I wanted us to invest in the run game and Oline. I liked Bookers size, he came from a big boy school, had great character and a bit of a mean streak. Wanted a physical over powering run game. Didn't think we had our eye on him, but I liked him.

As for another team:
I was a big fan of Derrick Henry as well, for some similar reasons. Huge back that would pound the rock and help a very physical run game. I was pissed that we took Zeke as I knew we were out on Henry. Thought he was an absolute steal where he went.

I was a big Lamar Jackson fan as well. He had exceptional skills you couldn't teach, and I knew he would be a handful to contain.

Booker is one of the most NFL ready rookies that I've ever seen. Technique and awareness are advanced. Power is overwhelming.
