..this guy knows how to win. Very good track record in SEA. Any organization will give him another shot. I can see Jerry being one of them
Bold>The possibility is real. Typically, Jerry Jones conducts notably brief interviews for filling head coaching vacancies. Pete Carroll would be high on the hire list IF Jones is enamored enough to have him on his.

It would be great if Dallas had an owner more intuitive in this aspect. Carroll had previous NFL head coaching experience under his belt before Seattle hired him at 58.

Additionally, the Seahawks put enough faith into Carroll from jump by naming him Vice President of Football Operations also. Thus, Carroll was a (if not THE) defacto general manager for the Seahawks. That is how that franchise entrusted Carroll to get them to a Super Bowl the day he signed on the dotted line. Little chance of him getting that same contractual consideration in Big D.

i'd take him here in a ♡ if mccarthy isn't back.
since the gm is not leaving...the ONLY chance we have is the hc to coach "around" jerry.
carrol has the experience and makeup to do it.
a young first time hc with the owner being the gm would be eatin' alive here.
•carrol
•vrable
•flores
they have the fortitude to hold up.
and the know how to coach "around" jerry...especially carrol.

No. Either go with vrabel or young innovative coach and staff
young innovative coach ain't coming here with this f/o dynamic.
they billed garrett at the time as young and innovative.
they don't know what that really looks like.

2025 could be an interesting coaching cycle. So far, except for Vrabel and Johnson, there aren't many top candidates. Just depends on your flavor of ice cream. This may explain why Mike could have other options. Hell, COVID interrupted his first year a bit. Then he had three straight 12-5 seasons followed by a final year that was sabotaged by Jerry but his players still have his back.

It's a good question for discussion if we could discuss who is available that might actually want to be the HC for the Cowboys.
Jerry has probably the best candidate on board right now despite what everyone's feels are about MM.
I want to hear anyone tell me who would be better than MM that would actually be wanting to assume that position for this franchise.

Players play hard for Carroll, he would bring in a run 1st oriented team with a good defense. I dont see it happening though. if Mike leaves, Kellen will get the call with an apology letter from Jerry
