Totally unrelated (sorry OP) but just found this snippet from the same Peter King article while following the link and reading it.

Byron Jones, Miami ($82.5 million). Per Pro Football Focus, allowed a passer rating of 117.0 in 2020, second-worst among corners who played 500 snaps or more.

The Cowboys dodged a bullet there. Plenty of posters here wanted Byron to a long term big money contract...

I had nothing against Wilson, but I never really could pick out any one improvement that he was responsible for. Kitna seemed to be a better QB coach, or I should say he seemed to be a more passionate coach from appearances.

I like Kitna. I think he understands the position really well. Good coach IMO.

Garrett is book smart but lacks common sense in real life situations. I'm not surprised Prescott tricked him.

This is something anyone would do if given the chance. This happens routinely at any workplace in regards to interviews and or applications.
