Peter King Puts Who in Top 3?

I watched the Giants yesterday and I was underwhelmed. Most complete team-BS!!! Their secondary is still weak, you can run on them, Eli is still Eli.

What does it matter, really?

It's obvious the league consists of the Pats, Colts and then everyone else.
Don't believe it? Well, even Wade admitted it.

We haven't impressed the last 3 weeks. We were fortunate the Pats didn't blow us out totally in the 2nd half of that game. Moss came within a hair of catching 2 more TDs.

Well, its just his opinion and who really cares. All that matters is 6-1 and going into the bye and hopefully get recharged for the stretch run!!

It wasn't as bad as I thought once I clicked on the link. The Chargers don't belong there, obviously. I don't know what he's thinking there. But the Jags are extremely solid. I have no problem with him putting them above us. In fact, I'd almost expect them to beat the Colts tonight at home. This is one of the very few Monday night games I'm really looking forward to.

'Boys backlash

Folks were ready to put them in the SB, but a couple of difficult outings against the Bills, Pats, and Vikes are now having people putting away the anointing oil.

I actually read an ESPN blurb about the Giants being the most complete team in the NFC. I think it's a good thing for the 'boys to go back underground.

I agree 100%. The funny thing is those same ESPN (and others on here) people are saying are D sucks because we can't stop a good QB. Thats just fine and dandy, but why isn't the same logic placed on the Giants? Who have the played since getting torched by Dallas and Green Bay in back to back weeks?

Listen to Burger King talk and you will discount what he writes. He's as bad or worse than Mike Francesca. He has agenda's....

Amazing stuff, if anyone had said before the season that we'd be 6-1 heading into the bye there's not a person on this board that would not have loved it.

now people are crying about us not blowing out every single team we face or that we're not going 16-0 :lmao:

We are a good grade below Indy and the Patriots.

But we are decisively above everyone else in the league. King's insertion of the Chargers is borderline childish.

Peter Queen still has a job, WHY?

He used to be a decent writer. However, over the last several years he has become a younger, fatter version of Skip Bayless.

1 Indy - 6-0 they are the defending champs, undefeated, and dominating
2 NE - 7-0 they are undefeated and dominating like no other, but I still give #1 to the undefeated defending Champs until they lose
3 Dallas - 6-1 and the best team in the NFC.....I firmly believe Dallas can beat NE....but we may have to wait until the SB to find out, if NE can get that far.
4. Green Bay - 5-1 and simply finding ways to win. They are not glamorous or dominating, but at the end of the day, they seem to fill the W column.
5. NYG - 5-2 and a very hot team right now. The defense has found its stride, as well as the offense. They definitely will be a force to be wreckon with in the second half of the season.

Who cares what ANY of the pundits think. Many of them picked the Cowboys to go to the SB last year after the win over the Colts. That didn't work out to well did it.Many of them picked New Orleans to go to the SB this year. How's that working out for them. The first half of the season (just like the first half of any Cowboys game) doesn't mean much. The REAL season, the one that defines who is who starts now. We'll find out what we really have in the next 8 games.

Ditto. It's a long season and it doesn't mattar HOW the team is "ranked" during the weed-out process of weeks 1-10. Just how they close this sucker out - weeks 11-16, and whether or not they are showing steady signs of improvement during the stretch run.

Do THAT - and they gotta shot. This isn't a beauty contest where any vote counts. The NFL "Miss America" is the contestant who ultimately rips the t***s off her competitors.

NY has put up great numbers against a lot of **** teams. Somehow that isn't held against them.

That being said, they do have 1 component of a damn good team down, Pressure.

25+ sacks? Say what you want about them earlier this season, that defense has really come alive. They've been adequate against the run, but ********, that pass rush is really good.

Funny how bad the NFC East looked at the beginning of the year, but in the last few weeks, I'd say it's the best division in football. Won't be surprised if 3 teams from the division make the playoffs again.

Peter King is a frickin JOKE!!! Who cares what he thinks?!

you dont have to blow people out by a lopsided score to win impressively...

Giants stats were vastly inflated by the Eagirls being stupid about not helping out Justice and other wise being stupid. 12 sacks in that game- so the giants have had only 13 sacks in the other 6.

Ridicilous, Dallas' only loss is to the team everyone considers the best in football right now and they drop 2 spots. He puts the 3-3 Chargers in front of Dallas and the Jags who have a good defense but doesnt have a QB. You cant beat a good offensive team if you dont have a QB, its not like there defense is the 85 Bears.
