New York Giants (1-0) at Dallas Cowboys (1-0)
Jeff Feagles can't hit the video board and his Dallas counterpart, Mat McBriar, won't -- if he knows what's good for his job security. The ascension of Tony Romo continues with a three-TD-pass day.

Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 30, New York Giants 20

I don't get his obsession with the video board.

Right. We'd fire one of the best punters in football if he accidentally hit the board.

Exactly. Really stupid comment on King's part. McBriar could hit that 10 times and won't be cut.

It seems that a lot of sportswriters;/columnists these days need a controversial subject to rally around. I guess they lack the ability to truly be creative from week to week and need a "gimmick."

It's from the Monday Morning Idiot. Par for the course.

Wow I'm kind of shocked. I expected King to pick the Giants over us.

How about some actual X's and O's analysis of the game?
Well at least King picked us to win.

JMO, but Romo has already peaked for the month of September. We all know he is great then and expect it any more. It's the post Thanksgiving ascension I'm interested in.

Most sportswriters nowadays are oblivious to the actual game. It's more about the comedic aspect and how loud you yell.

Why do you think guys like Peter King, Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, etc. are employed?

Sad, really. People knock guys like Madden, but the guy knew the game inside and out as well as anybody.

I've always thought Peter King is an idiot, but I'll take his predicition...

although, I also want to ruin Brandon Jacobs' day while we are at it, and then during his post-game excuse-laden TV interview, I hope a fan runs behind him and screams "Go Big D!"

Hey, he talked about punting and mentioned three players' names.

I was expecting him to talk just about the concessions.

Are we going to get punter/video board anecdotes every week?

We get it, some might hit it some just cant. Move on.

Probably at least for the rest of the season we won't hear the end of it... it's something new for the media to ridicule Jerry about.

The first punter who hits it, then pulls a hamstring on a re-kick will teach the other childish idiot punters that the injured reserve isn't a place to sit as a punter because it's easy to get cut and replaced at that position :)

MB4, are you talking about Anthony Davis the OT from Rutgers?

Reverse psychology. Since king is routinely wrong his predictions he picked Dallas to win hoping the opposite will happen thus giving him some dallas failure to write about on monday.
