Peter King's weekly picks (Dolphins over Cowboys!)

Pundit makes prediction; sheep declare war. In other news, dog bites man.

Nonsense. You haven't declared war on anyone. Not since this morning - at least.

Yes, people disagreeing with people they disagree with. Shocking, I know.

It would have been much more expected to see a bunch of people saying, "Well if Peter King believes it, then I guess it's going to happen."

And that disagreement has become predictable, if not hysterical in tone. Not shocking.

Look at the website. 90% of the people that have voted disagree with him. We're favored in the game which is IN MIAMI.

How can you not disagree with him?

So what? Ron Paul always wins those post-debate internet polls, and he's an also-ran.

How can you not disagree with him?

I don't care about his prediction. I care about the lame reaction to his prediction. He's rolling the dice and picking an upset. That's a crime? This team cannot be upset on the road? It's perfectly plausible. Don't take it so personally. Until further notice, we ain't the '85 Bears.

I dont think its a guarantee that we go into Dolphins stadium and win but I believe we should.

We could have EASILY lost to the giants. We did some dumb things but at the end we just made more big plays than they did.

I predict us to win but im not expecting for us to go in there and it be just a piece of cake either.

Dallas Cowboys (1-0) at Miami Dolphins (0-1)

I want to love the Cowboys after the Sunday-nighter, but torching that Giants secondary doesn't mean much, and the Dolphins will apply more pressure on Tony Romo this week. I don't like the Dolphins, but I've got a feeling Trent Green has three or four good deep balls in him this week against a weakened secondary.

Dolphins 16, Cowboys 13

They might score 16 on us (although I think our D will step it up after their embarrassing performance last week), but we'll sure as hell score more than 13 on them. I think 31-16 in our favor sounds about right.

Didn't he pick us to go to the super bowl a couple of years ago??? LOL

I don't give him any credit after reading his list of the top 500 players in the NFL. He did include Ware, Newman & Witten in his top 100, followed by TO at 103 & Tony at around 137 & Gurode, Adams, Glenn, Anthony Henry, Ferguson, R.Williams & even Canty were included later.

What turned me off was his inclusion of several players drafted this year who haven't played in a regular season game yet and he listed them in the 300s range. I guess there's not a lot of good players in the NFL if these guys are that far up in his book.

Most people are predicting this as a 16-13 or 13-10 type of game. I don't see it. Not sure if you are aware, but the Dolphins lost one of their starting safeties to injury last week and are having problems with their secondary. I expect Red Ball to attack this week.

The consensus seems to be that the 45 points are an exception. I think Dallas drops 31 points on the Dolphins this weekend.

I believe he had Bulger as one of the best 20 players in the NFL as well.

I could make a case that Bulger is every bit as much of a Top 20 player as Carson Palmer is. When you objectively look at his career, he's probably the most underrated and under appreciated player in football.

I continue to be amazed at how much stock fans put in what the 'experts' have to say, almost as much as I do for how they were deemed experts in the first place.

You know what. It's a 50/50 chance that he's right. Might as well flip a coin. Who cares?
