Look for Jones' other team The Desperados offer him a tryout. Nobody in the NFL will touch this guy. He'll sit at least a year ala Jeff George.

Somebody will undoubtedly pay him a 1 year, incentive laden contract. No question in my mind.

And TO will b*tch about it halfway through the season.

I hope its Atlanta - If TO had problems with McNabb then the fireworks with Vick could be exploding before TC is over.

If it is an incentive laden contract and a QB like Vick is running around and not passing...well..They'll be fighting in the locker room too.

Lets just not look at the front offices of teams either. What about players themselves...Sign TO in the off-season and see how many other FA's want to join your team and become a teamate of TO. NFL teams now must recruit FA's to come play with them, almost like College. Having TO will not help that recruitment.

I would take T.O. in a heart beat. I wish Jones would seek to sign him.

I can't imagine anyone in our division taking T.O. Which one of these coaches will put up with a "me first, me second, me only" player? Joe Gibbs? Tom Coughlin? Bill Parcells??? I don't think so. Those of you who mention Keyshawn as a comparison are missing the biggest point. While they both have big mouths, Keyshawn is a hard working team player. Sure he want's his share of the touches, but he'll also block downfield for other receivers AND he'll make the tough catches across the middle. How many times has he caused a problem on this team since he's been here? The only thing anyone can point to is the little confrontation with Bledsoe on the sidelines and everyone involved or around that said it's been blown out of prportion and was over by the end of the day. T.O. on the other had, has focused the media attention on him since day one. He is an egotistical, me-first, to-hell-with-everyone-else kind of guy. He has caused hate and contention in every locker room he's ever been in. He wouldn't last 15 minutes with Bill Parcells!

I know you are not saying that Owens willnot go across the middle and make the tough catches? I know that is not what one poster is saying.
Owens is not just a me first person. Key and Owens are basically the same, both work hard for the team and will do whatever it takes to help the team win.

Both had a disagreement with their former teams and just like Key someone else will pick Owens up, any team from any division

Oh yes he is.

I Would Sign Him Next Year, A 2 Year Deal With Incentives, Contract That Allows The Team Options Etc...

Screw His Past....he Is A Superstar, Just Like Key Who Had Issues, But Only A Better Player, Much Better Player....parcells Can Handle Him.....owens In 2006 Wins The Super Bowl....think About It, At This Point He Has To Behave, At Least For A Year, Maybe 2, Then He Is Dumped......owens Has To Behave To Prove A Point And Besides, He Would Kill To Play Against The Eagles......drink The Kool Aid!!!
