Darn.......I thought this was premium info. Started typing before checking :banghead: but it's open to all site visitors.

1. Eagles......They are ranked the best but penalties were an issues last season. They had 44 as a unit, tied for most in the league
Best Player: Lane Johnson...he set the standards for right tackles. Has allowed a sack since 2020

2. Browns....According to PFF they underperformed last season but the pieces are there for them to be as good as any unit in the game
Best Player: Joel Bitonio.....he finished the season as PFF ALL-Pro at LG. Only allowed one sack

3. Chiefs......They overhauled both tackles positions, with Donovan Smith at LT and Jawaan Taylor at RT. Smith allowed 6 sacks last season.
Best Player: Creed Humphrey.....didn't give up a sack all season. Considered the best Center in the league behind Kelce. Still on rookie contract

4. Ravens.....With just 24 penalties last season, this was the least penalized OL in the league during the regular season.
Best Player: Ronnie Stanley.....returned from a long injury layoff last season but is still an elite LT
5. Lions..........Interior was a revolving door with several problems but the return of LG Halapoulivaati Vaitai will be huge for this unit.
Best Player: Frank Ragnow ( center )......Sewell is the real deal but Ragnow is as good as any center in the league. Only allowed one sack last season.

6. Cowboys......Dallas gets multiple players back from injury, even with the specter of getting hurt is never far from Tyron Smith. Dallas OL begin last season
with the same ranking but injuries caused it to slip but the talent belongs this high.
Projected Starting Lineup
  • LT Tyron Smith
  • LG Tyler Smith
  • C Tyler Biadasz
  • RG Zack Martin
  • RT Terence Steele
Best Player: Zack Martin .......arguably the best guard in the NFL while Quenton Nelson was at his best but now it's no longer an argument. He's the most dominant player at his position. A mindblowing stat .......he has reached more Pro Bowls ( 7 ) than he has received career holding penalties ( 6 )

7. Falcons

8. Packers

9. Chargers

10. Colts

They are better than most in here give them credit for. Ranking them 6th sounds about right. Overall PFF clearly overvalues sack totals. It doesn't tell the whole story.

I don't know about that. In a league where passing is king, keeping the QB off the ground is important. Anyway, I said all last year that our o-line is top-5 worthy. If we stay injury-free, we will finish as a top-5 line in the league.

Dallas has had great offensive line play since 2013 or 2014 depending on who you ask. 4/5 players are pro bowl level linemen when at their best. The question, as it is for all offensive lines, is can they stay healthy? There is not enough starting offensive line talent to go around in the NFL. A few injuries can result in replacement level offensive linemen completely blowing up your game plan.

I was pretty annoyed that fans elevated Quenton Nelson over Zack after Big Q's second year.

Glad it's becoming clearer for the masses.

The keys are health , and getting the ball out.
This blocking scheme fits maulers so we should Excell, I'd have us at 4.

When healthy the cowboys OL is pretty good but how many games will they all be healthy? The real question is who's available and how well are they playing late in the year into the post season.

They have three legit ALL-Pro ( LT, C, and RT )
Kelce and Johnson were 1st team all-pro. Dickerson was pro bowl, Mailata was pro-bowl alt. Of course, none of them played and were replaced due to them being in the Super Bowl. When 2/5ths of the starting Pro Bowl is your line, you can lay claim to #1 line. Now they supposedly have Kelce 2.0 stepping into the RG spot. Thank God they didn’t get Derrick Henry.

Our front seven against their line is going to be a battle to see on every snap.

its not run blocking that concerns me with this group. Its pass blocking and they are not top 10 in that category. maybe they will turn to glory this season but Im not holding my breath

This ranking is too high even if they are all 100% healthy. If Steele even starts week #1 he wont be 100%. Tyron could go down at anytime. Once he does this Oline drops down to average. We have seen this happen the last 5 or 6 years once he goes down.

Then we go from Tyron to Chuma or whatever other scrub we have. Then the musical chairs start and the continuity falls apart. Not to mention this starting 5 will have no continuity going into the season as they probably wont see more than a few snaps in preseason together if at all.

If Steele cant start week 1 and Tyron goes down in TC again we could be looking at this Oline to start the season.

Walenzko, Martin, Biadasz, Chuma, Tyler

That has a shot to be one of the worst in the NFL. God help us if Martin ever gets banged up.
