well the cowboys can maybe put waletzko on the pup list to start the season that would free up a roster spot in the first few weeks.OL is tough cuts this year. Bass and Richards show potential and likely snapped up quickly if cut.
Ball is inconsistent at best and we can upgrade there imo.
Waletzko hasn't impressed me enough and both shoulders have issues
Edgoa, not sure when he will be back, has some experience which may prove valuable
Farniak looks like he can play the back up center spot
You got a great point with the dip in Oline talent League wide!!Go light at LB and give him a spot of the 53. They can find guys like Cox and Jefferson on the street if they get hit with injuries. Probably better
If you have OL that could develop into playable players, you try to hold on to them
Mckeonwhat TE gets cut for us to try to go with just 3 TEs ?
gholston won't play much. he would be last on the depth chart probably. I expect Tyron to miss time, so OL shuffling and thus have more depth at OL. 10 instead of 9.You'd cut a good run stopping DL with versatility for one of these backup OL? Interesting.
Keeping Farniok is unfortunate???Just keep them both.
Basically have to keep Farniok as your backup center, unfortunately, but if you keep 10 it's just a debate between Waletzko and Edoga.
Smith - Smith - Biadasz - Martin - Steele
Bass, Ball, Richards, Farniok, Edoga/Wally
Edoga wasn't exactly "wanted" in the offseason. So he would probably be a guy that could go on the practice squad.Yeah. And while Bass is showing up, Edoga isn’t showing anything.
I disagree and so does many peopleHe has NOT been great in the run game and is just short of a turnstyle in pass protection
I was thinking the same.Edoga wasn't exactly "wanted" in the offseason. So he would probably be a guy that could go on the practice squad.
- Gholston had 11 sacks in one game last year, (vs Washington) but he still may face roster competition fromgholston won't play much. he would be last on the depth chart probably. I expect Tyron to miss time, so OL shuffling and thus have more depth at OL. 10 instead of 9.
No I meant blocking maziExcept it is preseason snaps against opposing teams.
No, he's a keeper and already in the mode of in your face with strength and good pad levels. I like him a lot.The question is, can they risk sneaking him onto the PS without losing him?
Or just make a spot on the 53?
Gholston had 11 sacks in one game? I assume a mistyped.- Gholston had 11 sacks in one game last year, (vs Washington) but he still may face roster competition from
Junior Fehoko, who could flex at DT and left DE in the 3 man front.
- I dunno what to make of DT Junior Fehoko right now as could he be the one DL guy that won't play much per experience and camp injury had left him behind. or team could have plays for him to flex in 3 man front or inside the 4 man front.
- Could he be inactive gameday for most of the season ? ..or replace Gholston on the roster ?
Next season, linebacker should return to strength fully. This season, status places a very heavy load on the good group of safeties, then. Short yardage weakness raises a nasty payment price following this weakness.Go light at LB and give him a spot of the 53. They can find guys like Cox and Jefferson on the street if they get hit with injuries. Probably better

Golston is more valuable than you think, but we'll see.gholston won't play much. he would be last on the depth chart probably. I expect Tyron to miss time, so OL shuffling and thus have more depth at OL. 10 instead of 9.
Uh, they are talking about snaps in preseason games. Not in practice. Not against Mazi. PFF doesnt evaluate practice reps.Makes me think our interior rush is non-existent.
