It’s quite clear what he is. It’s really easy to tell who’s an Eagle fan and who’s not when you have more knowledge about the Eagles than the Cowboys. There are some posters who are invested in the Eagles because they are a rival. Then there’s a time in your post where it goes to fandom.
There are some people that are just educated in all of football and dont get their panties in a wad talking reality about other teams or their own team.

Maybe last year didnt teach you about how good the Eagles team is? What, you cant make yourself accept it?

PFF shamelessly said, "The Cowboys defense led the NFL in pressure percentage last year, but" ....... we trust our scores more LOL.

Dallas bolstered a weak interior with Mazi Smith and was a top 8 DL last year anyway.
They should be fine as they have actual depth and immense star power.

Ranking them outside the top 5 is insane.

Huh? What are you even talking about? Go mind your business the guy is a Eagle fan. Are you feeling guilty or something? Feel the need to defend your Eagle allegiance?

All rankings right now are either based on last seasons performance or speculation on next seasons...either way neither will be the reality when the pads come on and the games start.

Eagles had the best lines last year and earned the rankings but 2023 is a new season
yes, each season can truly be evaluated after the season. but you have to admit Eagles look good on both sides of the ball

The entire NFC East is in the top 10. Man!

The OLs need to be top flight for all 4 teams.
Two teams have good secondaries and two of them have good defensive lines. i'd say Cowboys is their secondary. Giants and Commanders are their defensive lines.....i'm not really sure what's the best unit on the Eagles. Last year i'd say defensive line.

Last years early Dallas defense was sacking everyone who looked like a QB, but gave up runs up the middle. The Late Dallas D stopped getting home as much but Hankins shored up the middle vs the run. The 2023 Defense will be the best of both. Mazi and Hankins shore up the interior run D and a fresh Parsons along with an upgraded CB in Gilmore will terrorize any QB foolish enough to suite up against them.

I would love for Dallas to play Philadelphia all 17 weeks.

Prescott is 9-2 lifetime against Philadelphia.
Hurts is 2-2 against Dallas.

I worry about SF, and SF only.
You got to have some Giants and Skins, or whatever they are called now- lol, games in there too- love beating them as well. It should be interesting with PHI, SF and DAL as the big 3 in the NFC. While the Cowboys will be dealing with a new OC and play caller, the Niners lost their DC, and I believe both the OC and DC from last year are gone from PHI too.
It will also be interesting to see how Purdy does in year 2 as the starting QB in SF. He comes in with expectations this year, where last year he didn't.

I did admit it, I said they earned the rankings, but they lost pieces too and my point is that just bc they were great least season doesn't mean they are going to pick up right where they left off.

Same could be said time and time again every year

One of the glaring weaknesses our defense had was against quarterbacks getting way too many yards running up the gut because our pass rush and push only came from the outside

Hopes are high that Mazi and company will collapse the middle of that pocket and cut off escape routs for opposing quarterbacks…….contain Hurts running ability and hope for the best
Right on the money. It was frustrating watching QB's we play twice a year in Hurts and Jones as well as the Bears QB run wild on us. I am hoping Mazi makes a big difference there too. If he and the others do that, this is going to be a nightmare defense for opponents to play against and a fun one for us to watch. They did get better against the run and up the middle as the year ended. Hankins made a difference. I thought SF was going to run us over in the playoff game, and they didn't at all.

My eagles alliance? LOL

So anyone that admits that the Eagles Dline is great is an Eagles fan?

Let me ask you a straight up question?

1. Is the Eagles Dline one of the best in the NFL?

Even that joker Qb on the Texans was running for 1st downs up the gut on us……..this season should end that happening too much……I hope

It all changes season to season. The Eagles lost their best pass rusher and replaced him with a rookie who developed a rep. for being a talented, but lazy player. Anyone not see perhaps a question mark with that?

Eagles lose Hargrave, SF picks him up, they have the best D-Line, but I think overall we have the best defense in the NFL this year. It's gonna be nasty if Mazi can show up mid-season.

PFF?

Is their organization based in Philadelphia?

I don't remember getting told that but, somehow, it just seems that way. I don't know why, can't put my finger on it.....
