And we will be watching a replay of that highlight for 40 years. Just another highlight to adad to the 49ers monatge….and sadly it never should have happened.
Just like we’ll be watching a replay of the Dez Bryant catch robbery in Lambeau.

7 straight divisional round losses, quite the feat. It’s almost like you’d need some bias sprinkled in for that kind of unlikely streak.

Cowboys failures have been sports media gold for 30 years. I’m not saying, but I’m just saying…

Watching First Take...they are breaking down Dak and showing all the open receivers he never looked at.
I've been a Cowboy fan since Roger was the QB. I've never had less hope for winning a Super Bowl than the Dak era. There have certainly been much worse QBs than Dak, but you knew change was coming, which gave some hope. Dak is like Garrett, you know he is not the right person for the job, but he is going to be in the spot for at least ten years.

In other words, other than CeeDee, Dak had no other reliable weapons to throw to, including no rushing attack whatsoever! Yet, it's all Dak's fault?
Comical stuff from so many.
Its never all one players fault. But, all arrows point to Dak's poor performance being reason #1. You saw the game. He couldn't do anything and was making horrible decisions all game. Got lucky on 2 pick 6's the niners dropped.

I will never understand Diggs not trying to break up that catch to Kittle...it seems like a solid hit would have prevented that catch...how he could even look his other defensive teammates in the eyes is beyond me. And then to drop that sure INT. If he does not wanna a tackle then he needs to make those INTs...this team just baffles me. It's like they don't want to win in the postseason...if he breaks that pass up and makes that INT we win the game.

As far as Prescott, he is what he is...he would do well in San Fran because they have QB friendly system and that's what he needs in Dallas...and a new OC with a modern playbook is what this team needs.

Its simple and he's been doing it all year. He is making business decisions out there. Sure he could have laid the wood to Kittle and broke up that critical catch, but Kittle is a big guy and such a hit could have resulted in a serious injury to him. I fully expect a new contract or a training camp holdout this offseason from him. He's looking at how DLAW and Zeke handled business with Jerry and saw them get rewarded for their threats to hamstring the club.

Seriously dude, I defended Dak for years. But, HE LOST THAT GAME YESTERDAY!!! His erratic play is either good Dak or bad Dak - yesterday was BADDDDD Dak. He is NOT seeing the field consistently. You can't do what he did yesterday and even think he is (that missed TD to Hilton was unforgivable - he was LITERALLY running down the seam w/ CeeDee so how could he NOT see him unless he has tunnel vision). It's been 7 years...

Gallimore’s could be low because he gave up a 40 yard completion…, In all honesty I thought did a decent job keeping up with Kittle. Not sure why he was in that position though…
Gallimore ?

Always interesting to see rose to the occasion and who fell. Nobody fell further than Dak who went from the teams highest graded player against tampa to its lowest graded player vs SF.

Top5 Offense

1. Connor McGovern!! 77.4 - first time ever
2. CD Lamb 75.6
3. Tyler Smith 74.2
4. Zach Martin 62.7
5. Jake Ferguson 62.0

Bottom 5 offense

1. Dak 39.9 - a truly aweful grade
2. Gallup - 44.4
3. Zeke - 51.2
4. Schultz 54.1
5 Tyron Smith 58.6

Defense

Top 5

1. Micah 83.1
2. Osa - 78.8
3. Diggs 75.6 - still think he made a business decision on that huge bobbling catch play by kittle
4. Hooker 74.6
5. LVE 68.8

Bottom 5 defense

1. Bland 45.6 - might be his worst game
2. Gallimore 50.2
3. D Wilson 52.4
4. Hankins 53.0
5. Anthoney Barr 59.7
I pretty much agree with the offense grades. On defense I thought LVE had his best game in a long time, especially in the first half.

I agree with the bottom 5 defensive grades. Bland was exposed and I think he needs to stay in the slot. I don't think Rhodes played at all did he? They need a CB2.

I didn't want to say anything but I thought Wilson had an awful game too. He made a few plays here and there but he is a liability in coverage. I like him and I want him back but he needs to improve his coverage skills.

I am surprised Gallimore was rated as high as he was. He is awful. He gets pushed around like he is 230 lbs instead of over 300. On the CMC TD run Gallimore got pushed so far out of the hole so easily it was almost comical. I blame the Cowboys for having him in there instead of Hankins.

Barr is not getting it done and has shown me nothing all year. He has played better lately, but he missed a lot of tackles. He doesn't have the strength and quickness he once had. Next year Damone Clark and Jabril Cox will get more playing time and it will help them both develop into quality players.

Hankins deserves better than the grade he got. He did a good job stuffing the runs in the middle. He got held a couple of times and that holding call against him was BS. It was ticky tack for one thing but the play was blown up by other Cowboys defenders and the hold did not matter. To call him for that and not called the holding against the 49ers when Gallimore was pulled to the ground by his shirt was ridiculous.
