PFF Grades - Week 9

Good to see guys like Steele and Osa finally stepping up. But if those are your top performers on offense and defense, it's hard to win games. A lot of the tackling grades are putrid. That's coaching when so many can't seem to wrap up.

Mazi needs to start the rest of the year and get beat up. He may not improve but I'll feel better knowing he's feeling our pain.

Stop complaining? Yeah you are better than me I can't sit here and pretend like everything is good watching this team make the same mistake over and over again. You say this every year you aren't tired of not complaining yet seeing the same mistakes over and over again?
I hate it, but reality is this team is not good. Best thing is for this team to lose out and secure a Top 5 - 8 draft pick.

I take note that last year’s second rounder Luke Schoonmaker had one…one offensive snap. He didn’t even qualify for a PFF score. Last year’s First rounder Mazi got a 28 score. Luke Schoonmaker didn’t even have enough snaps to qualify.

Schoon and Mazi were bad picks. It may go down as the worst draft since the 2009 special teams draft.

Will McClay is overrated and I know many will say it’s not his fault though.
Mazi is absolutely on him. The war room footage proves that he sold the room on Mazi. Called him a "plug and play" run stopper. Schoon never made any sense. I was livid about that pick. The dude is 26. He was never going to get any better than he was at Michigan and he wasn't that good at Michigan.
