Stafford puts up a lot of empty numbers. The MVP usually goes to a QB. The last 9 MVP winners were QBs. The last non-QB to win league MVP was Adrian Peterson in 2011.
I have no doubt it will be a QB.
Stafford isn't putting up empty numbers lately as he has really struggled the last two weeks.
Lacking Woods he may not even be in the race in 3-4 weeks.
Kupp is special but OBJ is not that guy and attempts to get him the ball last week were inefficient and wasteful.
The Rams scored 26 points the last two weeks combined.
And while the Rams looked great the prior 3 weeks you could argue they played the 3 of the 4 worst teams in football: DET, NYG and HOU. (JAX being the other bottom 4)
In fact the Bucs are the single above 500 team they have beaten and we know the Bucs have had a ton of guys out or banged up.
They will face the Packers, Cards, Vikings, Ravens all on the road in the 2nd half of the season.
