Austin's hamstrings won't be a problem until they decide to give him a big contract. I think he will be healthy with a coach that stays on him.

Buyer beware. For their sake, I hope they got Miles "on the cheap." Those paper mache hammies won't likely do them any favors.
Sorry, despite that smattering of cynicism, I wish him the best -- he served us well for a few seasons, even if only too few at that.

I was raised to hate the Steelers and Browns fans are the same way. Some point along the line I found myself rooting for them even if they haven't been competitive since Bernie Kosar was under center.

It will be easy to root for them this year.

Never been to Cleveland have you?

Oh I never said I liked the city. As a wee lad in Kentucky we used to go to Kings Island and that is about as close as I got. I used to be a UK fan until I forsook the NCAA but I really don't like that state.

Some of my very earliest memories are of watching games with my father and I remember those Schottenheimer Browns. Kosar, Slaughter, Mack, Newsome, Golic and the best corner tandem in the NFL.

I'm glad for him. I liked him as a player and person even though his injuries got frustrating. I wish him well.

With Josh Gordon potentially facing a suspension, Cleveland needs help at wide receiver. Miles Austin will provide just that.

The Browns announced today that Austin has agreed to terms.

Austin has spent his entire career in Dallas, and the Cowboys said this week that they were interested in bringing him back. Instead, he’ll head to Cleveland, where he could be the No. 1 receiver if Gordon is suspended. Right now the receiver depth chart after Gordon is thin, with Greg Little, Andrew Hawkins, Nate Burleson and Travis Benjamin as the top four.

Hard to understand why we still found significant value in Miles after the chronically lame hamstrings.

To be honest, I hope it all works out for Austin, Johnny football, and the Cleveland Browns. That Fanbase has suffered long enough.

I think theyll suprise people this year and take 2nd in that division behind the steelers.

I also believe that the hamstring problems became mental with Austin, I feel that he was afraid to put it in high gear because he couldn't trust his hamstrings. Even when healthy I feel that Miles only went about 80% in an effort to try and stay on the field, that's why we never really seen vintage Miles much.

A positive for both Dallas and Cleveland. Cleveland gets an extra needed receiver and this keeps Jerry and crew from using a spot on Austin instead of developing one of the younger guys already on our roster.
