They traded him a cfl team for Ricky Ray :D

There goes our chance at McFadden... :banghead: ;)

But I heard on the radio this morning that the rumors are that Quinn is going in soon. It's a beautiful thing.

Wow that's surprising. The Browns are my second team and Brady is my boy,but not sure he's ready yet. Especially with that line.
Yup. This has Little Big Horn written all over it.

The Giants would make sense.

Perhaps the Giants' deliberate downplaying of Manning's injury has been a ploy to avoid appearing to be in desperate need of another QB (desperate teams are forced to pay higher prices).

I was hoping the Bengals would lose that game to the Ravens last night. The Bengals now go to Clev after a big win on Monday night. As bad as Clev. looked on Sunday it might be easy for the Bengals to overlook them. Hopefully the Bengals do what the Steelers did and get a quick lead over the Browns.

Browns trade Frye to Seattle

Apparently, 20 minutes of action was all the Browns needed to see to make a change at quarterback. Cleveland has traded former starting quarterback Charlie Frye to the Seattle Seahawks, FOXSports.com has learned. Terms of the deal, which went down Tuesday morning, are not yet known. With Frye out of the picture, it should only be a matter of time before first-round pick Brady Quinn gets the nod as the starter.
The Seahawks have been in the market for a backup quarterback, which will free them up to use Seneca Wallace in other positions around the field.
The Browns will bring back Ken Dorsey, who was with the team in training camp, to serve as their third quarterback.
In just over a quarter of play on Sunday against the Steelers, Frye was 4-of-10 for 34 yards and 1 INT. Frye was also sacked five times before giving way to Derek Anderson early in the second quarter.
Anderson would throw for 184 yards and the team's only touchdown of the day, but also had an interception in the Browns' 34-7 loss.

I guess it is hard to be Joe Namath while laying on your back under a pile of defenders. Frye may actually be happier now. His health will definately remain better.

Poor Quinn. I see a repeat of the destruction of David Carr.

That is a bad run organization. Frye may be just a guy but he was announced the starter. Now he is given one quarter and is yanked and traded. Now Frye can go to Seattle and be in the background and be taught by a good offensive coach.

I can understand Clev. wanting to see Quinn. I like Quinn too, but that is a tough division to play in. The Steelers, Ravens and even Bengals defenses could make things extremely ugly against that Brown line. If Quinn makes it through that it could be better in the long run. Although there is a possibility he could shatter his confidence early and be brutal for the rest of the year.

Listening to the fans chants and wants isn't always the best route to take.

I remain mildly surprised that Byron Leftwich still hasn't had anymajor negotiotiations with teams like this.

What do the Seahawks see in Frye? I understand from media reports that he was awful in his starting game against the Steelers. Wonder if Cleveland going with backup QB or considering playing Brady Quinn now. Hmmm. Hope rest of the season is downhill for Cleveland. Nothing personal but all we Cowboy fans want the Cleveland first rounder to be as high a pick as possible -- like #1 in the 08 draft.

They're a mess. Crennel said like 10 days ago he was committed to Frye.

Other than perhaps Atlanta, is there another team whose #1 you'd like to hold? A lot of the other bad teams - Tampa, Miami, Oakland, KC - have something, be it a defense, running game, etc that they can hang their hat on. I see few if any redeeming qualities in the Browns.

I'll be stunned if they win more than 3 or 4 games.
