This sounds like another idea that just hasn't been thought through. You're giving Dak two more games? So what if he stinks it up against a good pass defense like Tampa Bay's but then does reasonably well against a very average Detroit pass defense? Now we're two weeks closer to the playoffs and still don't have a clear answer about who the QB should be. Now what?
The answer might depend on whether the Cowboys win these games.
Can we just put Romo in, win a Super Bowl and call it a season? It's almost like fate is granting us one last run with Romo -- we finally have a team that he can take to the SB, he's healthy, and our rookie QB is starting to falter. But knowing the organization, they won't recognize that this is fate intervening and will stubbornly stick to their guns.
Fate is on Romo's side. Fate does not like to be ignored.
I still don't see the big deal about what JJ said.

Kind of mesmerizing!conversely, jeri jones:
"You can make it as simple or complex as you want to make it," Garrett said. "It's pretty simple for us: Dak is going to play quarterback as we go forward."

Why does John Schneider of Seattle get credit for being the architect of that team, but Jones is dismissed for his acumen as GM?
Fate sidelined Romo, brought us to Dak, got us to 11-2. What does Romo have to do with any of this record right now?Can we just put Romo in, win a Super Bowl and call it a season? JG will not comment on a QB change until he is ready to implement the change. Dak gets another coupla games before this might become a real possibility.
Meh...I don't think so and here's why. If you look at the reality of the situation, we can't necessarily afford him under performing a "coupla" more games. That would mean Tony would have to come in to Philly in the freezing cold with a bad back, after not having played for well over a year. NOT a good scenario at all IMO. I think Dak gets into the 3rd qtr. vs Tampa...MAYBE the whole game and if he lays another egg, TR appears either at the end of the 3rd Qtr/Beginning of 4th qtr. vs. Tampa OR he'll start vs. the Lions the following week. ORDINARILY, Dak should and would have some time to come out of this but there's a helluva lot at stake and it's very possible Tony can light a fire and get our O back on track big time.
