In 2007, the Cowboys scoring Defense was ranked 13th in scoring average given up per game (20.3 points average).

That's not bad at all. Much better than most of the Defenses Dak has had when not injured.

As you can see, only 2 out of the 5 scoring Defenses Dak has played with when healthy had better scoring Defenses than what Romo had in 2007. This means 3 of the 5 were equal or worse than what Romo had in 2007, certainly the opposite of what you stated.

I would go into the WRs and RBs comparisons, but I'm pretty sure I would be correct in my comparisons once again. Darn the internet and those pesky things called facts. lol

Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott have been easy targets for blame following the franchise’s 27th consecutive season without a trip to the NFC Championship Game.

Yeah, back to back 12-5 seasons, improved in playoff success from one year to the next with lesser talent on team, finally break a franchise record playoff drought by finally winning an away playoff game, etc, etc.

This team can perform just as good or better with several improvements on weapons, better Oline (which will improve both the run and passing games), better play designs/playcalling, better position coaches and a few key pieces on Defense. The QB of Dallas Cowboys is under a brighter spotlight and is compensated accordingly. The guy earns 50M a year OFF the field in endorsements. If he's the QB of the Panthers, that money isn't there.

So, when he sports a 2-4 playoff record having never advanced past the divisional round of the playoffs and plays a putrid game against SF on top of it all.......... criticism is the obvious consequence. Nobody played worse than Dak in the biggest game of the year.
