Kellen Moore was more to blame for that 2nd INT. 2nd and 2 @ the 49ers 18 yard line. No way in hell should you have called a pass play, especially 4 spread out wide when your Oline was struggling to block the 49ers 4 down Dline pass rushers. Run the darn ball!!! That was more on the O-Coordinator than the QB. That's why Kellen Moore (and not Dak) is now gone.
yeah no excuse not to run the ball on 2nd down, burn 40 seconds off the clock and then if not convert on 2nd and 3rd down, try a FG. At least we would have gone to the half tied.

Dak is completely and utterly unfairly criticized. So much so that even when criticism is earned, you can't give it because it's like yelling at a rock concert.

No one can hear it to care.

Haters pile on him. "Fans" pile on him. It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

CeeDee Lamb: No one deserves the criticism Dak Prescott gets

Posted by Charean Williams on February 8, 2023, 6:29 PM EST

The Cowboys moved on from offensive coordinator Kellen Moore after the season-ending loss to the 49ers. But some fans have spent the past two weeks clamoring for a new coach and a new quarterback.

Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott have been easy targets for blame following the franchise’s 27th consecutive season without a trip to the NFC Championship Game.

Did I see mistake in this paragraph? Do you see what I think I see, or am I just not reading right?

Prescott played 12 games and threw 23 touchdowns and a league-leading 15 interceptions. He played one of his best career games in the wild card round, throwing for 305 yards and four touchdowns in the victory over the 49ers. But the Cowboys lost in the divisional round as Prescott threw for 206 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.

So CD has Daks back and MP is the voice of reason for the team.
This locker room is on shaky ground and Dak is the fault line.

CeeDee knows that he needs to stay on Dak's good side so that he can rack up the stats for a new contract soon....why bite the mouth that feeds you? That is why Parsons called out Dak....no need to suck up to him.

How did Dak play like utter trash? Explain yourself.
Here you go bub:
CMP ATT YDS CMP% AVG TD INT LNG SACK RTG QBR
23 37 206 62.2 5.6 1 2 46 1 63.6 51.0

Context matters. Dak was up against a really good defense. Purdy was up against one of the best defenses the Cowboys have had for 20+ years. This came down to QB play and Dak's turnovers did them in.
The Kellen Moore excuse just doesn't sit well with me. If you expect your OC to compensate on every play for your QBs poor accuracy and decision making, you need to find a new QB.

It was an idiotic play call, run out of a stupid formation, but Dak still has to take care of the ball and he didn't.

This doesn't explain anything other than you outright blaming the QB while excusing everyone else's bad performance as well.

Moore is NOT responsible for Dak not having good QB sense.

This is why we can't have nice things here. You KEEP making excuses.

KM is gone now because that's how it works. Not because it;s his fault. And...did you ever think of the possibility Kellen wanted a better situation for himself?

No...you didnt.. You KEEP making these very lame excuses...like KM TOLD him to do a dumb thing? Ridiculous.,

There's also a team-destroying contract that needs honored.

Come on man....and you wonder why you get flack. This absolute ridiculous stance you keep making up.

Fine...make a mess of our good community. You are doing a fine job. If you had a modicum of give about it...this place would be a lot nice. But you go so far into hyperbole....that people HAVE to call you out for it. And then we get a diaper mess, thanks to you.

I already explained what Kurt Warner explained about that play about who else was at fault for that play. Yes, Dak was partially at fault, but so were others.

Did Kellen Moore throw the ball? Dak could have audibled if he didn't like the play... Try again to take the blame off of Dak. I'm not backing Kellen Moore. He was trash as an OC as far as I'm concerned however as mentioned, he didn't throw the ball...
Dak could have easily thrown it out of bounds, it was 2nd and 2.

And when we have people blaming the coach for a stupid play execution....it makes it worse. Only an idiot savant/robot does EXACTLY as programmed. A good QB audibles out...or makes the best of the play...which might be zero net yards or even a sack.

You can;t just blame only one little thing for this mess. Takes two or more to tango. Otherwise you are just showing an agenda. (a mess).

Here. Grow a pair and learn some football. Same goes to the rest of you uneducated ones. This is what Kurt Warner said:

The pass actually wasn't bad. It was right on target to hit CeeDee square in the chest. The problem was CeeDee ran straight to Fred Warner (MLB), stopped and started running straight into the flat the way he came. Problem is he ran right into the incoming "robber" Safety...who tipped the ball right into Fred Warner's hands. Even Kurt Warner said during film breakdown that CeeDee should have ran past Fred Warner and carried Warner with him, then stop and cut back into the developed hole in the middle away from the MLB and Safety. That's what you guys are failing to understand. Sure, Dak takes the blame for throwing the pass (which was right on target), but CeeDee cut his route short and totally did not help his QB or make the area open up in the short middle against that coverage. Had CeeDee done his job correctly, it would have been an easy pitch and catch for a 1st down.

"partially"? You are admitting he is a very weak QB. Not totally...sure...I get that. But more than "partially".
