1 out of 6 players brought in = 17%
percentage of the starting 22 that linebackers represent on a 3-4 team = 18%

I'm not sure that counts as a significant statistic!

We may either trade up, trade down, or stay put to take a player that we may or may not have invited that plays at a position that may or may not be a need filled.

Or not.......
That's deeper than grandpa's well.

We could be looking at adding a WR in this Draft, or we might pass on WR thinking that our future starting WR is already on the team.

We will look at Safeties, but we may or may not take one.

There is a chance the Cowboys will look for O-line in this Draft and also a chance they might not.

Future QBs could be selected in this upcoming Draft, or the Cowboys might opt to pass on a passer.

There's also a chance a gust of wind may blow outside of the new stadium tomorrow at 12 noon. There's also a chance that it may not.

I want Sidbury and Williams........I also want either Phillips/Brinkley and Spencer Adkins......If he goes undrafted, I want Josh Mauga as a UDFA.

I also want Jonathan Casillas, but not at LB....I want to move him to SS. In fact, I want to use Spencer Adkins as a LB/SS and ST player.

I would love Brinkley/tate combo in the draft!

Although I'd MUCH prefer getting Eric Norwood from S.Car next year.

But thats just bc Im good friends with him so he'd hook me up lol

I'd love Tate on our team if we can get him in a later round. I think he'd complement our receivers very well.

PS - I think it's time for a new sig.

Can we just draft some players already, or trade away all our picks for 2010...

Norwood is one of those guys that just makes plays.

Jasper is a stud. I think he's better suited at a 4-3 Mike but if he can play the Mo in a 3-4 then I'd go for it.

Yea, he responded pretty well from his surgery junior year as well. Came back strong. Once they started moving Norwood all around the field the combo of him and Brinkley was just nasty.

And yea I do need a new sig lol.

Brinkley is a 2nd round pick all day had he not torn his ACL. But I've heard rumblings that we're looking for another pass rusher too, FO must not be too high on Spencer. Either way I hope we go defense early and often in this draft, unless a speedy WR slips ala DeSean Jackson last year.

I don't know what Norwood is going to do. He's kinda a tweener. Where are you going to put him? I don't see him as an OLB in a 3-4.

I'd love Brinkley to either compete with James eventually or better take the other inside spot in time.

Norwood could play both, but he is one of those guys that seems to make plays. Definitely could see him in NE or Baltimore.

I haven't heard much, but are we really high on Brinkley? - I know we brought him in for a visit.

I wouldnt get mad if we traded Ellis and Spencer on draft day......Spencer is worth a 2. Ellis is worth a 5.

As long as we draft adequate replacements....I'm all good with it.

The problem is that in the draft you don't know what you're getting - possibly for a few years. We can't trade away both Ellis and Spencer this year.

I don't think Spencer going anywhere.

As for Ellis, maybe. But we better be sure that we can get someone who can fill in as a starter, because Spencer has been dinged up a bit, and we don't know exactly what we've got in him.

Actually, that's probably the primary reason Ellis hasn't been traded yet.

I love Norwood but I don't know where he fits in the NFL. He has LB size so my guess is that is where he'll be projected. Unless he gets bigger.

Brinkley is moving up the charts. He's got to be someone teams are hoping will fall. He has all the talent in the world to succeed.

Well if Kiper has him high then.....

Think about what you're saying. I wouldn't get rid of one much less two of the three pass rushers on this team. Even if a pass rusher falls to us.

For the umpti-zillioneth time, we aren't going to move a pass rusher in a SB year unless we KNOW we have him replaced. We're in a decent position of only having to draft from a BPA position. Send them both away and Stephen will assassinate his father and assume the throne.

He's not that fast or quick Bob. I suppose he's quicker than fast but I don't see him at Ware's spot. He probably will be an inside LB in a 4-3 or 3-4 but who really is knowing these things.

Ware plays at the weakside OLB spot
