Ware plays at the weakside OLB spot

I know Bob. And I'm saying I don't see Norwood as the jack, WOLB, or whatever you want to call it. I see him at 6-1 as best as a MLB or a 3-4 ILB. I don't see him being able to play either side of a 3-4 whether you want to call Ware a will, jack or weak OLB. And I don't see him making it at SOLB Sam or whatever. He may prove me wrong and I hope he does. There are few short guys at DE/OLB. Sweeney and Harrison are examples but most at built differently.

We could be looking at adding a WR in this Draft, or we might pass on WR thinking that our future starting WR is already on the team.

We will look at Safeties, but we may or may not take one.

There is a chance the Cowboys will look for O-line in this Draft and also a chance they might not.

Future QBs could be selected in this upcoming Draft, or the Cowboys might opt to pass on a passer.

Thanks. That sure clears it up for me. Good translation.

We're looking for another rush lineback due to Ellis' age not questioning Spencer imo.

I think its a combination of Ellis' age and Spencers' inability to perform in a system tailor made for a guy like him.

Spencer is right up there in my mind in terms of underachievers, I had high expectations for him coming out of the system in Purdue. Guys like Barbie Carpenter I had no hope for since day one.

Give me Jason Phillips and Lawrence Sidbury please. We'd have the deepest LB core in the NFL.

We have Bradie playing well.... and under contract for several more years.

We have Ware who's playing great and soon will be under contract for several more years.

We still have question marks at the other 2 LB positions. So yeah... it makes sense we are looking at players at those positions. Both could stand being upgraded.

How exactly? This is the same kind of overstatement made about Dallas' talent for about the last 3 years. Until proven otherwise Phillips and Sidbury are just guys with potential. Of the linebackers we have, Ware's an all pro, James is very good, Carpenter can't play, Ellis has lost a step and we're not so sure what Spencer is at this point. Apparently, two and a half (Ellis is the half) good players and all of those questions marks would give us the deepest LB corp in the league. :lmao2:

LOL. Only problem with the 3-4. You can't keep LBs. Bad as CBs.
