To me, it's real simple.........Jerry, Stephen, and MM are using this as an opportunity to reset the coaching staff. MM has 2 more years left on his contract. He was probably one, maybe two games (NFCCG and/or Super Bowl) from earning an extension.

He has two years, but he is likely going to get extended or fired after 2023

Joe Philbin & George Edwards are a little surprising on that list .

Yeah RB Coach plus the MM guy Davis and Leon Lett no surprise . The new OL coach hire will be one to watch for . Hopefully a new OC coming soon . Carolina seems real interested in KM

They didn't whack anyone, just aren't bringing them back as their contracts expired. The question nobody is answering, who do you want as the OC if Moore is removed, who do you want to replace Philbin with as the OL Coach? I will give you a name nobody has mention, Greg Roman. Excellent devising a system around Lamar Jackson, did the same for Alex Smith when he was with the 49ers.

The exact guy I was thinking about .........some said he's a running game expert. Kinda the Bill Callahan of running game. For all you posters craving a return of Callahan, this is your guy craving. Let him bring his own OLine coach.

They did this crap under Garrett. Made no difference.

Btw, I don’t think we have a coaching problem. We just can’t build the team required to win with while paying Dak.
