Remember the 49ers under Harbaugh, run first team, that played great defense to support them.
I will say I'm not sure I'd turn the entire offense over to him ( Roman ). More like a running game coordinator with MM as his own OC. Also with both Edward, Davis and Philipin gone, I guess we will have a new assistant HC.

Looks like this could be one of those situations where the Cowboys move on from every coach/assistant except the ones fans want them to move on from. They’ve done this in the past.

I wish somebody would clip the old incompetent mob boss that runs the cowboys.

At the very least we will be adding a new OL Coach, but still have doubts that Moore will depart.

To me, it's real simple.........Jerry, Stephen, and MM are using this as an opportunity to reset the coaching staff. MM has 2 more years left on his contract. He was probably one, maybe two games (NFCCG and/or Super Bowl) from earning an extension.

IDK......maybe you're right but I think they want a new voice on the offense. I don't think they would fire him but give him the option of seeking another OC job OR returning with less input. It's interesting they have already fired his RB and OLine coaches.

This is all window dressing
People that matter for an NFL franchise are owner, GM, HC, QB
Unless 1-2 of these change there is no real hope
Pretty much. Philbin is an interesting one because honestly, I am not sure he was all that impressive anyway.

But they didn't touch some of the assistants that have a lot of face time with Dak - Moore and Nussmeier. Again, I don't blame either for the O's inconsistencies but Dak is here and I think he needs a new voice.

Only way I could see things changing if we got some hard nosed O coordinator like Dan Quinn was for the defense. It's clear Mike isn't going to bring the discipline to the team as the offense and special teams looked sloppy when it mattered. Kellen Moore is too young and not hard nosed enough to get in players faces and have them listen to him.

We're simply not going to get far in the playoffs with sloppy, undisciplined play which is what you get with player friendly coaches

That tells me that they were very disappointed in their run game, perhaps hit their tipping point against the 49ers. You want to get Dak to become more productive, less mistake prone, give him a good ground attack to work with.
