News: PFT: Dak Prescott on his sore shoulder: Everything's fine

Sure….if everything was fine, they wouldn’t be talking about him missing at least two weeks of camp when there is literally no one to back him up.

I fear this setback means our offense is going to be garbage until at least game five which means a rough start to the season

Hope I’m wrong but doing the math just doesn’t look good

I disagree.....remember he missed the last 12 games, so it's been almost year since his arm/shoulder has done any significant work. Let him rest until the 3rd preseason game, he/offense will be fine.

He would be out there if he was still trying to get a contract. Little aches and pains become a little more tolerable when there's a huge incentive waiting at the end of your efforts. Funny how that works.

Who is saying he is missing camp? Article said he is day to day.

More overreaction.

Nah. There are injuries that you play through, and there are injuries you back off on and rest. If you are a runner— the worst thing you can do when you have shin splints is to keep running.

I would imagine the same would be true of continuing to throw and put torque on a sore shoulder. He needs to take a few days off, and let the shoulder rest, then ease back into it.

The worst thing would be for him to try and tough his way through this and make the injury worse. Glad he is being smart about it and a good athlete understands what his body is telling him to do.

And anyone who questions Dak’s toughness needs to STHU. The guy tried to set his own ankle bone by slamming his foot into the ground lol… Dude is a beast.

How long does it take for latissimus strain to heal?
Recovery time varies depending on the strain, with Grade 1 strains typically requiring 2-3 weeks and Grade 2 strains usually taking at least a month. Grade 3 strains often require surgery, however, and can come with considerably longer recovery periods.

I agree and understand your point but I think most of the time it's the FO peeps who determine if it's better to protect their new massive investment or let them play through it.
