The first thing I need you to do is learn to read my posts more carefully because I CLEARLY stated that DAK IS NOT ELITE. You get it that time??? Ok good.

Now you said don't pay attention to stats... but players are paid new contracts, bonuses, and incentives according to stats... players get graded because of stats.. players are ranked by stats... players are voted to the Pro Bowl because of stats... players are voted into the HALL OF FAME because of stats. So no, we can't ignore the stats.

Yes we've had very good players around Dak, but let me ask you this... if Dak was only good because of the talent around him, why did we look so bad when Dak got injured??? Why weren't the backups able to look as good as Dak with the "same talent around him"?

I never said "don't pay attention to stats". What I said was don't get stuck on them. It means stats can lie. It means they need some context.
For example....if a QB has a high completion rate...does that mean he is a great passer? I know I don't think it's mutually inclusive.

and finally....I do expect at least SOME drop off from #1 QB to #2. #1 should suck less.

And one more thing...I don't believe I *EVER*...let me say that again...EVER! said "dak sucks". I do think he has some issues...I think his passes do not offer the receivers their best shot at maximum yards. I agree with Kurt Warner, he doesn't take advantage of the best option the defense gives. I don't think he runs when it would be advantageous to do so. I don't happen to think he's the great awesome leader just because he shows up for work and buys shoes....I do have a high standard for that...it might differ from your definition that's fine.
