If that OP is factual, which is entirely possible, I think Dez made a wise decision. He'd have bit off more than he could chew by attempting to do something beyond his capability to do successfully. I love what he told Jerry, if that's truly the way that conversation transpired. Sounds like Dez made his point really well in that exchange. It's been WIDELY reported locally that Dez was broke and taking advance loans from the Cowboys. That's not my conjecture; that's what's been reported. And there are multiple instances of guys blowing through $100+ million, whereas guys in the 70s were making $500K or much less for an entire career. Inflation doesn't come close to explaining that.

All of the local DFW media said they didn't think the video existed.

It seems that the root of the video was 1 national reporter and few other jumped on board after his report, but he local media here didn't buy into unless it was the fluff non-sports news people.

I think many believe that something happened at Walmart, but they already knew the video didn't exist.

He will guarantee himself 45m over the next 8 months and get paid 70m if he stays the whole 5 years.

The money he made before(12m over 5 years)is peanuts compared to this.
