Look, anything that might help Atlanta rise from the ashes and not slot ahead of Cleveland in the draft is a welcome sign, non?

gee why hurry? nobody was beating down the guys door

he isnt a very good player, hence very little interest

at best he's going to be exactly what he was in Jax, a mediocre starter...since Atlanta is a worse team however with a pathetic OL, odds are he is going to look very bad

David

I'm not a fan of Leftwich, but the little interest came because of the timing of his release and isn't necessarily and indictment of his ability.

I'm surprised Minny wasn't interested in him. They've got an OL, running game, and a defense and would be a contender with a real QB. Bollinger is a joke, Holcomb isn't the answer, and by the time Leftwich could come up to speed in their offense, they'll have their answer on Jackson. I know Leftwich isn't a good fit for Childress's current offense, but he's too good a player to not be on a roster somewhere.

yeah...long very slow delivery and release, and almost zero mobility

he's gonna get killed behind that sieve of an OL

David

Yeah, this is his biggest problem. He has a strong arm, but his delivery is so slow that he telegraphs his passes and it really causes him to get the ball to the receiver slow.

He is a young kid, would like to see him succeed. Hopefully he can turn it around.
