Titans (holding overall #1 draft pick) - Will Levis has played as well as a full-time starter as Lance in his limited career opportunities thus far. Could be an enticing lateral move on their part.

Raiders (overall #6 pick) - Not sure Lance could beat out their current quarterback room but never say never.

I do not see the remaining 27 teams offering more of an opportunity than Jerry Jones handed him, namely a pure backup role that--with a little luck--change into a starting position. And I doubt 3/4 of those teams will seriously entertain signing him as a backup option.

Prob add Steelers to that list with how they used Fields. Could definitely be their backup if they ever get a starter lol.

I thought about Pittsburgh but decided Mike Tomlin would not see in Trey Lance what he saw in Justin Fields.

Never know. Depends on who they get as a starter. If they go and get Stafford, they won't have much money left for a high level backup and I doubt Fields would want to stay.

Trance mirrors Jackson and Hurts? Those guys also pass a lot. Trance couldn’t get on the field for a seven win team whose starting quarterback went out with an injury and the guy who stepped in as quarterback is now also a free agent. What would Trance have had to do in the last four seasons to make you think he’s not cut out for the NFL?

Wasted, in hindsight, yes. Still worth a look, young for 3rd pick in the draft for a 4th rounder..has some talent, hopefully he'll be smart and take a deal with a QB guru....maybe Moore....would be worth a look.

Most other teams would have put him in the games. See what they have for sure. See any improvements.
Lances' career was decided as soon as they gave Dak that awful extended contract.
However, they still could have played him. And if he shown improvement, the comp pick could have been better. How they will get nothing.

They will resign Rush, and have Grier.

A real shocker that the Cowboys couldnt make something out of him after the 49ers, with all they had invested in him and Shanahan as HC, gave up on him.
Totally surprised Jerry making this trade on his own couldnt make it work.
