Cowboys QB Dak Prescott on @dfwticket on WR George Pickens: "We've connected. I'm excited. You turn on the tape, you see a guy that can catch the football. You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands. More than a 50/50 catcher. He thinks it's his ball when it's in the air. I'm excited for him. I know we needed some help at that position. ... It's hard to double team two guys. ... I think we're putting together a nice group of weapons."

You put the ball anywhere?? Get ready George, Dak means what he says, he'll put it under, over, side, etc, we HOPE someone can catch these passes from Dak, sheesh! Pickens will be the reason why Dak can go to Jerry this next off season and ask for MORE money!!

I only care about what Milton thinks of Pickens.

Dak has a concrete hammy. This should end well.
I have a tough time believing he isn’t going to have some lingering issues….one way or another.

People can say what they want about him, and much of it is fair/warranted, but if he isn’t physically ready, or hurts that hammy again…the season is over.

There’s a reasonable possibility that he is never the same again.

Although at least Milton might be interesting to watch.

Keep up. Dak’s a much better than average passer as far as accuracy. Check his stats vs others. And quit following other peoples coattails.

It will be interesting to see because Pickens can get loose down field and Dak is not a good bomb ball thrower. Last year when I compared Dak to other QBs on balls thrown more than 30 yards past the LOS, Dak had the worst completion rate, had only completed 2 and one of them was a ridiculous circus catch by Tolbert on a grossly underthrown ball. That will be on my radar for sure.

we won't know until this time next off season, how Dak played with pain all throughout the season

Dak talking about Pickens' game is interesting considering that he kind of helped Dez's career come to an end because early on in his career, Prescott didn't like throwing 50/50 balls. He was too cautious a quarterback for that, didn't like taking risks. As Bryant's career was winding down, he became even more of a 50/50 ball receiver because he was never a good route runner and he had lost some of the explosiveness in his legs. Bryant went from a peak of 88-1,320-16 in 2014 (Romo's last healthy year) to 69-838-8 as his best numbers with Prescott. A lot of that had to do with injuries robbing Dez of some of his skills. Some of that had to do with Prescott not being comfortable throwing the ball up for grabs and trusting his receiver to come down with it.

I had hammy problems. Once you rip it off bone, it's never the same. He's going to be a statue in the pocket now. It can be done that way, but he's never played that way and it remains to be seen if he can. We got him a deep threat in Pickens, but what he really needs are quick throws and guys that get open underneath fast.

Dak:
George is a great player, we will make me look better.
When I go down with and injury, he will make Milton look better.
