The Mingo…And he topped it with Mingo the next year.

I do nor cheer players holding clipboards.Quite a .magic show. I'm glad everyone cheered him on...and gave him the best team possible.
So he refused to be a water boy???Trance rejected the Cowboys’ offer. I don’t think he hates the team, but apparently does not want to be associated with it.
Good point. They must not have liked his development during the ‘23 season and then the ‘24 season. I wish we could keep him as a vet minimum 3rd string development player, like we did with Romo, but maybe the 2 seasons we were developing him he just didn’t convince us to keep him.The Cowboys traded a 4th round pick for him and let him go after watching him everyday in practice. Pretty sure he’s just not good enough to play in the NFL.
He missed the Dallas camp in 2023.Good point. They must not have liked his development during the ‘23 season and then the ‘24 season. I still like the gamble of trading a 4th for a QB with potential. The trade I’m mad about is the Mingo trade. That’s just trash. I feel the positions you gamble a 4th or 5th rounder on is: QB, RT, DE and CB. I like gambles at those positions with players with physical tools and potential.
O well at least we’re gambling with 4th rounders now as opposed to 2nd rounders. That’s a step in the right direction.
Lance will do well under the new HC.Giving up a 4th for a guy that isn’t good enough to be a backup but not under control long enough to really develop makes no sense. Lance needs playing time and he had no avenue to get it in Dal.
