News: [PFT]: I think if I had $40 million, I'd be the happiest man alive. - Micah Parsons

Any of us would do the same if we could. Always easy to criticize another man's money. Jerry wants to wait, screw him. Make him pay.
Not “any of us” would blatantly lie publicly that we didnt want it

Requires a certain lack of character

Lol!! He said that a while back and Jerry dropped the ball again. But, knowing the great fan you are, you'd probably play for free, to help out the team. Too bad we don't have more people like you.

Simply not true. It's hilarious when people spew this. Is it really that hard to fathom that not everyone is eaten up by greed?

Is your issue with the money or the production?

If it’s the money, then hop into your delorean and go back in time to the 70’s. (My guess is that is your steady state).

If it’s production, then only two players have had more sacks than his 14 and the 14.5 that he will pass, for sure, is Lawrence, at 14.5, who you people slag on forever as being a leader of the “hot boyz”, which is a dog whistle if I’ve ever heard one.

Anyway, not Lilly, not White, not Jones, Haley, Martin, Tolbert or Jeffcoat. None of them have produced like Micah.

My guess is that it’s just chalked up to old man syndrome.

I should know. I saw (and remember) the 76 and 78 Super Bowl. But I also am able to grow.

I honestly think the fandom needs a reboot that is only achievable through time. I’m an exception, not the norm.
White led the NFL in sacks in 78 with 16+. Martin was credited with 23 in 77, the year before it became an official stat. To say that these legends didn't produce like Micah is laughable. They, unlike Micah, are also Super Bowl Champions and MVPs. Micah, while a very good player, is not in the same universe as these 2 legends. And he's no Charles Haley either.

1 sack in 4 career playoff games.

Jerry has a pattern of waiting to maximize the amount of money he has to pay his players. I think he does this b/c the money has to be spent and he hates signing free agents he doesn't know. So he figures that he might as well spend it on his guys. Either that or he's a clueless idiot.
Well, at this point he's probably handcuffed himself because any agent worth his salt is going to wait him out.

It's just not true. Bob Lilly had 15 sacks in 1966, and that in a 14 game season. George Andrie had 18.5. Jethro Pugh had 15.5 in 1968. Randy White had 16 in 1978. Harvey Martin, as previously mentioned, had 20 plus.

Honestly, this is incredibly easy to look up. They've gone back and counted the sacks each player had before it became an official stat. Jim Jeffcoat had 14 sacks in 1986.

Textbook. Might as well carry a giant flashing neon sign,

Yes, now expecting someone to be a man of their word is somehow an insult and a problem

Keep posting and exposing your values

It was officially a stat in ‘82, so both of those are unofficial numbers

This is not an intelligent comment. Those players don’t have Micah sacks because sacks weren’t officially tracked in the 70’s. Many mentioned had outproduced Micah in their time

Micah was the top rated LB out of college against the run.

This team has been wildly misusing him pitting him against the teams LT and RT consistently. If they would wake up and play him at MLB and utilize his speed, we would have Roquan Smith on the team. Instead. They put him at DE and he gets washed out by tackles and by week 10 he’s dead to rights.

Blame the coaching staff and FO not the player.
Yes, use him as the MLB for early downs/ run and DE on obvious pass plays. I think it will improve our run defense using him as a lb, not a light DE. He is a phenomenal pass rushing DE but we can still get more LB from him as well
