An MRI on Dunbar’s left knee revealed that he suffered a posterior lateral corner injury that will need to be surgically repaired. The Cowboys believe he will miss the rest of the season, although it’s not clear if they’ll be putting him on injured reserve or holding out hope that he might be able to get back at some point in the postseason.

Is there really a better microcosm to represent how the past few years have gone for us? Hate to be a rain cloud on a sunny day after a nice W but DAMN have we caught a break since the 90s?

Seriously, just when everything aligns for a weak division and we are decimated by injuries. Is any other team this snake bit?

He's not a guy I want on this team going forward.

I like his ability but it's clear he is going to be constantly hurt.

If that's the standard for this team than no one will be on this team next year because aside from Romo and Dez....everyone has been hurt. lol

Dunbar shows promise but he can't stay on the field.

Lee is awesome but he can't stay on the field.

Murray has talent to spare but he can't stay on the field.

Miles does a great job of opening up the offense but he can't stay on the field.

Brian Waters provides a much needed boost to the OL but he can't stay on the field.

Jerry Jones owes a debt and he's been paying it off for coming on 20 years now. When will he be done paying the note?

Ugh.

Dude has had one good run all year. It's not that big of deal guys...He's another one of our "potential" guys who can't stay healthy. Move on!!!!

This more closely aligns with what I know I saw when it happened. Wishing him a speedy recovery. I hope Randle can step into his role because the change of pace at RB works.. The problem I see is that Randle is more like Murray versus the speedy shifting that Dunbar brought tto the table..

After watching the 2nd half yesterday....i'd say Lance Dunbar is a pretty big deal.

IMO it was a cheap shot by Porter.

Reminded me very much of the play where a DB took out Randall Cobb earlier this season. Defenders going very low on offensive players -- in both cases (Cobb and Dunbar) offensive players who are small in stature where the defender really didn't need to go that low.

Yes, I think it was dirty.
