This should be fun. I know the cool thing to do on this site is to blame refs or other players for anything and everything - but this was not deliberate or dirty. It was a tough hit in the wrong spot at the wrong time. It happens.

Ok I'll buy that explanation.

Dude has had one good run all year. It's not that big of deal guys...He's another one of our "potential" guys who can't stay healthy. Move on!!!!

I agree with this.

We saw it flash on one play in preseason (where he fumbled, I might add), and the third quarter on Turkey Day.

My problem with it all is what took so long? Who we need right now, IMO is Harris to get healthy. For the love of me I have never figured out why we can't use him on offense.

The PLC is the lateral complex. Probably the PCL and LCL with ??meniscal injury.

The hit was clean, guys are taught to go low on RBs. Even Phil Simms said guys should go low to avoid stiff arms like Murray was doing.

Ummm...

Yep.

Them Bruce carter threw a cheap shot yesterday when he submarines Jennings in the 3rd quarter...and Brandon Carr threw a cheap shot against the Giants' TE on Sunday.

It was unfortunate, but there was nothing cheap or dirty about it.

It's not like he had a ton of opportunities to make plays.. He has mad use of the chances he has gotten.. Give him credit if for nothing else for bringing a spark in two of our most important wins this season.

Yeah there was. Watch the play again, from the defensive pov. It was a cheapshot.

I am with you, it was freak play where porter zigged and dunbar zagged. Porter played the play very well and hit dunbar low because he was off balance and dunbar was in the middle of trying to bounce outside.

I agree. You can't hit the guys high any more, so you're obviously going to hit them low.
Looked like a great play to me, the injury notwithstanding.

this is disheartening....the important thing that dunbar brought IMO was that actually change of pace...that term is SOOOOO overused, but in this case, is has merit....if he could continue to spell Murray for a few series a game, it prolongs Murray's ability to stay healthy while the team remains successful...I like Randle, but he is a poor man's Murray, not a change of pace guy....not a guy that will catch a ball out of the backfield and break it open....
