Good Lord, man! It's sarcasm. I was making an analogy comparing the Pat's to Adam. I don't think what the Patriot's did post game (San Diego) indicated a lack of class in any way. By not speaking out about the missed call, they serve to back up their up-till-now classy reputation.

Adamjt13 is an undisputedly respected poster here by me, and a throng of other posters. He is almost always (in my estimation) right in his arguments. I never see him in here thumping his chest when his arguments prove to be true, and he hasn't at least up to now done that in this thread. Therein lies the comparison. Both can be called classy. Both have been vindicated recently is some regard. Neither has felt the need to air to the world how they were once wronged.

Maybe you have been derided a bit lately for some of your opinions. I don't know. I consider you a terrific poster, and of great value to the board. I think you may be a tad touchy because of the recent derision.

In the future I will do more to inidicate sarcasm in my posts. Maybe I need more quotation marks to set off what I think are obvious witticisms, and increase my use of smilies. I will also do more to create more obvious parallels. Yes, the above is sarcasm.

Adam IS always right, no doubt. But in the thread where he repeatedly had to point out to people that no "face-guarding" rule exists in the NFL, I was absolutely AMAZED at the number of people who thought that there was one.
