If you can say one thing about Garrett, it's that he doesn't believe in gimmicks. He's even reluctant to for it on 4th down unless it's absolutely necessary.

I doubt we will see fake punts, flea flickers, etc. Parcells was more likely to do this stuff than Garrett is.

Going for it on 4th down and 10 with 9 min left I don't think I would have gone for it. I was telling the people I was with Dallas needed to punt it and try to pin the Commanders back but Garrett went for it. As for gimmicks you are right we don't run gimmick plays as of yet but in my view it took some guts to go for it thankfully Beasely got open to convert it.

Steelers had a great defense. If they want to risk gimmick plays than fair enough. We don't have that same luxury. If you have to do gimmick plays to win that already tells your squad you don't believe you have what it takes to win. Sure we as fans may feel that way but that is not the message you want to send your team. I saw the Aint's do that crap yesterday and couldn't believe it. Basically Peyton told his team he had no faith in them and they lost.

Offensive line need to be stars next week. Control the los rather running or passing, get physical with the d-line, come out running and wear them down.We are a physically stronger team.

I think we need to take some chances. Fake punt, onside kick, flea flicker, something to make a statement early on. I don't want to just line up and try to win vanilla.

It's sad that we've never attempted a flea flicker throughout the Garrett regime.

That might be true in years past, but I think we could this year... revamped line and good running by Murray. It could fool a few folks

Ever since we whooped them last time they've had this game crossed on their calendar. He's got a right to be confident, but the game is played on the field. We'll see what happens when the whistle blows. There's no sense in crying and whining about possible outcomes before the game is played. When Chicago lost their starter they got better. When Philly lost their starter they got better. Who knows, our backup might light them up.
