I dislike that in the middle of a season a HC has to respond to questions about his job/future because the owner won't muzzle the dang GM

Is an obvious lie a vibe?

It's a positive vibe that Booger said what he said. If he had said, "I'm not thinking about that at this point," it would have been a totally different message.

Booger drops the hint it could happen and if Big Mac jumps to say how much he enjoys the city, working with these guys, and how great it is to have an owner like Booger, Booger knows Big Mac is ready to sign up for more of the same.

Big Mac played it down, directed it as a team thing, and avoided the follow up question of, "would you sign if you were extended today?"

Good luck selling the injury excuse when the team sucked before the injuries started piling up. Even Jerry has said the team was bad before Dak's injury, so how the hell does he think he can justify saying injuries derailed the season?

Because they did…the team was already off to a slow start and had clear issues due to a horrible off season but the injuries particularly defensively made this team one of the worst in the league

Because of Barnum and Bailey here a coaching change won't make a difference. These 2 can't build a Super Bowl team, specially after that ridiculous contract to their "superstar" QB.

Every team has injuries, but you hope to avoid losing your starters for extending time coz depth is razor-thin. As mentioned before, we as a team have avoided any major injuries over the past 2-3 years, except for a player or two. Either way, this team wasn't going to do much this year regardless.....Dak or no Dak.

injuries yes, ours are inordinate this year.
