In ways I agree with McNabb because I don't think winning and losing is all about the QB. The old saying that the QB gets to much blame when a team loses and too much credit when they win in my view is true. However as the leader of the team which the QB position is he has to be willing to take the heat with no excuses and this is where he is failing as the leader.

I agree. As the QB he has to take it regardless if it is fair or not. You take the punches and you move on.

I hope that this is the final act to show people what a thin-skinned headcase McNabb is and has always been.

This is a clear example of why this guy will never be a winner.

And one of many reasons why he won't be in Philadelphia next year.

I wouldn't rule out the Minnesota Vikings just yet. Childress is there and that organization believes it is a QB away from being a menace in the NFC. I agree that a QB would lift that team to a new level. They might just convince themselves that McNabb is the answer.

Wherever McNabb goes, he'll just take his fragile and loser ego with him, and then just weigh down that respective team, ultimately.

So whoever wants him, Good Luck!:laugh1:

The eagles deserve every bit of McPunk! It couldn't happen to a better team (or worse team, whatever).

I hope his defensive teammates REALLY UNDERSTAND (and some of the offensive players too) exactely what McLoser is saying!

Under mcScab, that team has always lacked character, which goes directly to McScab's lack of said character.

Where the heck is Facin' Fools over this? Wasn't he the same game who came here attacking us how we "unfairly criticized" his performance in that Super Bowl?:laugh1:

You have to excuse McNabb. It's time consuming checking all the south-bound interstates in the philly area, searching for the NFC East title that blew through there just recently.

Whoda thunk that now the typical Eagle fan wants Reid and McNabb gone and would welcome Owens back with open arms.

McNabb's problem is that his ego overrides everything else. People seem to remember Owens throwing him under the bus but in reality McNabb lobbed the first volley. It's an unwritten rule that NFL players stay out of contract squabbles between their club and a teammate. McNabb broke that rule and lost a lot of respect in the locker room. If you recall more players have come out on Owens' side than on McNabb's.

McNabb did it because Owens was starting to supplant him as the number one favorite in Philadelphia sports and his ego couldn't take that. If McNabb wouldn't have gotten involved, Lurie isn't forced to make a one or the other choice and would have eventually paid Owens. Owens is still in Philadelphia and McNabb's still winning games and putting up numbers.

Nice way to throw the team under a bus McNabb :laugh2:

Agree but IMO, i think Donavan did and said the right thing.. After a loss everybody in Philly always blames the guy.. im not tryin to stick up for the Iggles and donavan, but after a while it gets under your skin, that everybody makes you the bad guy!! The Iggles Problems are just more then Donavan. they need to put most of the blame on the horrible play calle Andy Reid is makin

what a cry baby, isn't the quarterback supposta take the heap of the blame seeing how he touches the ball more then any one on offense?

Maybe they should look into snapping the ball directly to the backs more so McWuss won't have to take so much heat! :D

Romo is a much better leader than McNabb. Romo is a lot more willing to to take the heat when things go bad, and seems genuine about it. McNabb is a crybaby. Get him a binkie and his thermal blankie. Maybe it will stop his sobbing.

Bingo

Last year in Seattle even though the defence didn't stop anyone in the second half, or Glenn couldn't hold on to a ball and cost us two points, Romo stood up and said he was the reason we lost, pure and simple.

My little brother just finished his first year of football in junior high. He was the starter at QB.

He quickly learned and understood one thing that McNabb never has and never will. He's also embraced it and shouldered that load.

It is always the quarterback's fault, even when it isn't.
