My little brother just finished his first year of football in junior high. He was the starter at QB.

He quickly learned and understood one thing that McNabb never has and never will. He's also embraced it and shouldered that load.

It is always the quarterback's fault, even when it isn't.

Well tell that young man to keep his head up and just play! Somehow I'm sure he will!:)

I wouldn't rule out the Minnesota Vikings just yet. Childress is there and that organization believes it is a QB away from being a menace in the NFC. I agree that a QB would lift that team to a new level. They might just convince themselves that McNabb is the answer.

If I am Minnesota, I try to get Derek Anderson from Cleveland, it will cost them something since he will be a RFA. Then I use FA or the Draft to get him a #1 WR and a TE to go with Peterson.

I really Doubt Anderson will have another year, like the 1 hes havin now..

Every team, or player, always has a fluke season.. Just ask the Aints..

The vikes are gonna go after Donavan, book it..

no wonder the Eagle lockerroom was split between him and TO

never a good sign when half the roster is willing to take sides against you

McNabb is injury prone, whines, sells out his teammates, and folds under the pressure of big games. NO THANK YOU

Ask the Aints? Brees started off bad, but during their winning streak, he has been back to the play he displayed last year and in SD. In Brees defense, his OL didn't block for crap and his receivers were dropping passes like they were steaming hot potatoes.

Anderson played well last year when he got the opportunity. He showed flashes. He finally got a chance this year, and has done very well. You have to remember that Cleveland has been a team in disarray.....injuries to the OL and WRs, a lacking running game, and a porous defense. We they seem to have gotten some of those injury concerns taken care of (I believe that Center they got from the Saints is healthy now, his name escapes me at the moment, and also Winslow and Edwards are both finally completely healthy), they have Jamal Lewis to carry the load, especially in short yardage. The defense has played well.

Anderson plays similar to Romo. He is athletic, elusive, improvises well, and can sling the ball all over the field. He is also has a calm and cool demeanor on the field, and has shown to be a natural field general.

I'm telling you, Anderson is by far a better choice than McNabb..........Anderson has so much upside and is still very young. McNabb is on the downside of his career and is an injury prone drama queen.

I take Anderson

You can't put all the blame on McNabb it's ridiculous...

From a Cowboys fan's perspective, I guess that means you can't give McWuss all the credit either for making the Eagles suck.;)

MCNABB: IT'S NOT ALL MY FAULT

by Michael David Smith

Seeming perhaps a little too defensive, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb today said at his weekly press conference that he shouldn't get all the blame for the Eagles' 3-5 record.

"It's easy to blame the quarterback when the team loses, but I'm definitely not the whole reason why we lost these games," McNabb said. "I can definitely help - yes I can - but I [shouldn't get the full] blame for everything that goes on around here."

Those comments could be perceived as a dig at his teammates -- the logical extension of saying he's not the whole reason the Eagles lost five games is that some of his teammates also deserve blame.

Obviously, everyone knows that football is a team sport, and that it's never all the quarterback's fault when a team falls short of expectations. And since everyone knows that, McNabb would be better off leaving it unsaid, as saying it makes him come across as desperate to deflect criticism.

Earlier this week, Eagles coach Andy Reid was questioned about whether McNabb could be benched in favor of rookie Kevin Kolb, and although Reid said he supported McNabb, he added that "nothing is guaranteed."

When asked about that today, McNabb said, "I'm prepared to be the guy who can go out there and help us win games."

Wow...what a total tool. That OL is sure gonna block hard for you come Sunday Donny.

Their rookie QB starts in two weeks is my guess.
