Nearly a decade ago, the NFL crafted a policy aimed at promoting good player behavior by requiring teams to surrender a portion of a suspended player’s lost salary as a fine, if multiple players are suspended in a given year. In 2013, the then-five-year-old policy likely cost the Seahawks more than $60,000 for a trio of…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2402256&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

Ro and Gregory will not bring us down. D-Law is not like the other two. The truth will come out in favor of Zeke. Time to calm down.

Jerry isn't the one who failed a drug test
He is the one who gave these players a second or third chance
Personally I think it's a silly policy to punish an employer for something an employee did away from his job. They are grown men and they should be the ones held responsible for their action, not their employer
But that's just me. I think grown men should be responsible for their actions and if they are stupid enough to piss away millions of dollars for a buzz there is not much any employer can do about that

We should probably have to give up our 1st round pick next year. That would be fair.

I find it hilarous how people try to use the Steelers as a gold standard for how organizations should be run and yet they are right in this article with us, getting fined but not a single person that replied has brought that up, only stupid jerry blah blah. In before the "you get that leeway when you've won a sb in the last 20 years." Shut that noise up I don't wanna hear that. We aren't the only team that has players getting suspended but no its only jerry, my mistake.

The heart of *all* the criticism is that fans just want to win more. That part's understandable. It just is so stupid sometimes how a crowd becomes unable to separate the reasons for winning and losing and every discussion gets pounded into one dull, gray, uninteresting paste.

It's the easiest thing in the world to just be cynical about everything. There's no downside if the team doesn't win. And if they do win, everybody is so happy, nobody cares about the cynics.

Probably because nobody cares about the Steelers here. We're Cowboy fans.

I kind of agree. But, hopefully, this forces a change in direction for the Cowboys. We can't keep picking these type players, especially when we KNOW they have issues.
