Zeke and his attorneys aren't settling. They have no reason to. They know this case is a sham, and when his attorneys secure a victory in court over the NFL? Their reputation, and rates, will skyrocket.

Based on this evidence? This case is easy pickins.

I would be interested to see if they go after the lady in court for slander.
As there is a lot of evidence she made up the story.

I think she'll certainly be called to testify. And then I expect that she won't, because then she would have to explain the inconsistencies and lies.

This is what I'm leaning to. If there were mitigating circumstances with Josh Brown and that means 1 game, what could be more mitigating than the total lack of credibility of the accuser without any other witnesses?

To save face, time and money if the NFL offered 2 games for General Misconduct and made it clear it wasn't for DV then I think EE would take it

It would mean that EE would not be labeled an abuser and a subsequent violation would not call for a banishment

Zeke could play the first couple weeks while they worked it out and then miss Weeks 3-4

I will be happy if it gets chopped down to four games, ecstatic if just two.

The CBA makes so much of what we think is fair and just completely irrelevant.

This is the world created. Live in it and if it gives you a favor, you take it.

Just work at making sure that in the next CBA, you don't get completely duped.

Won't matter to Zeke if it is lowered, he wants this reduced to 0. If not he is fighting this all the way to court to get his DV cleared from his name.

Could be tricky. If Harold Henderson waits to make a decision until the end of the day on Friday before the Giants game, there's no time for an injunction.

You know what I have never understood. Why don't they have a deadline for suspensions to be enacted for that league year. If not suspended by the start of training camp, then by default it automatically carries over to the next year. It seems they are pushing these dramatic/distracting issues right into the start of the season. Just doesn't seem fair to the other players, or fans.

Definitely possible, but I doubt that happens.

Otherwise the league loses its advantage in filing a federal court case to confirm the ruling. They want to be in the NY based courts.
