Don't like it!
The home teams fans deserve the games!
However this is the NFL and they will go for the $$$$$
I'd be very surprised if any other NFL owner is okay with this. But, then again, if they rotate stadiums, some of the lesser teams owners could get some extra money. But then again, what the heck do I know.

I'm torn on the idea. I actually don't hate the idea of neutral site conference championship games. I think #1 seeds already have a huge advantage with home field round 2 and the bye week. Frequently #1 seeds are not the consensus best team in the conference and we are going to tie breakers to decide who gets it anyways. On the other hand there is always something special about having a big playoff game for a home crowd in a city like Buffalo. This also eliminates more bad weather games which brings pros and cons, but man are they fun to watch.

Why? Oh, they must think they can make more $$$$ this way.

This is a bad idea. This takes away any real incentive to win a division other than bragging rights. I’ll bet if this goes through, we will start to see NBA-style load management for players.

Good in theory, but I can't see the league including a team like Cincinnati in that rotation. It'll be teams in the south or teams with domes only. If they go to neutral sites it's almost a lock that the league wont let weather be a factor.

If this happens, more teams will rest players in the final week....why play hard if home field advantage isn't on the line. Stupid idea!
This isn’t something that ever crossed my mind, but now that it has…I see many pros and cons.

I can fully see the league trying to turn it into two mini Super Bowls.

I don’t hate it, but I wouldn’t hope for it to happen either. Now that I take a look at the circumstances, I fully expect it to eventually happen.

Kinda sucks. I’ve been to two Super Bowls and two NFC CG at home. The home games were the real fun.

Very good point, that is something I hadn't thought about, but if we take a step back how much will that really matter? I have to believe for the 1 seed that the bye week is more important than home field anyways. Then the 2/3 seeds are still competing for home field in the divisional round since it's a likely scenario they will play each other that week.

Interesting discussion point though.

Makes it less of a point on going out and getting the one seed as well. The only advantages you have are a week off and one game hosting the divisional round. Does not make sense IMO.

I don't know. The week off for players is a pretty good incentive. That's one less game you have to play to get to the bowl.

This completely undermines the whole seeding process. I don’t see this happening… I think it’s Florio seen something that’s not there
