Jones needs to play ball for awhile. He's got the tools but he's seriously rusty. He needs another entire camp at least.

Haven't heard a peep from him tho.

Here's hoping they get Pacman and he's a bust. Meanwhile Miles Austin has a breakout campaign.

I was sitting her trying to think of a play Pac made for us..some great play that would be remembered. Couldn't.

His time was embarrassing for the team and Jerry in particular. I so hope that he never, ever wears another Cowboys jersey unless it's one he purchased at Academy.

Yeah, a stupid decision on some thug who played a big role in paralyzing someone.

Don't do it again, Jerry. You really want to pay people like that? Unreal. How much did you sell your soul for?

Pacman shouldn't play another down again.

The league just needs to wipe this dingleberry off its *** and move forward.

At the end of the day, he's still a pretty good football talent. He was one of the best corners in 06. I wish he kept his head on straight, because when he gets back in the groove, he's an elite corner. Still only 26 too.

Personally, I wish we would re-sign him. People act as if he committed an unpardonable sin here last year. He has dealt with his drinking problem[?] and apparently moved on.

He played very well for us last year. He didn't have the return yards/td's or INT's that many wanted, but he was very solid. Plus it was his first year back on the field in over a year.

Bottom Line: Pacman would be a VERY good and VERY INEXPENSIVE 4th cornerback for us right now, plus he would add a veteran presence. I don't think he would be a disruptive force in the lockerroom.

But you are forgetting the most important thing. He's a piece of ****.

This team has its CBs.

What, exactly, has he done since joining the Cowboys to merit your not-so-subtle disdain?

So now were gonna limit the time frame and make judgements off that?

The guy is an idiot. Plain and simple.

I'm sorry but any person who cannot keep themsevles away from the police is an idiot.

He's not worth the risk. Jerry put him in the best possible situation and he failed. He failed and was suspended yet again.

Any team that thinks they can provide a better situation than Jerry did is in for a rude awakening.

He was a Titan first... Why don't they just say former Titan?

Because he was most recently a Cowboy. He hasn't played in a Titan uniform for like 2+ years.

Wow. Just freaking wow.

As an aside, I wouldn't be surprised if Rex Ryan turned out to be a colossal flop.

Report: Jets not interested in Pacman
The Newark Star-Ledger disputes an AOL Fanhouse report that the Jets have interest in free agent Pacman Jones.

The paper says there's "absolutely no interest." Pacman is coming off a poor season that included more off-field problems and the Jets upgraded their secondary in free agency. It will be a surprise if he plays in the NFL this year. May. 10 - 12:11 pm et

Smart move. He's not worth it.
