The only Yapping going on is your PAIN and baby I am loving it........ :muttley:
what pain is that? again, can you read? parsons says he's not looking to push for the largest contract, wants the team to be able to flesh out with quality players and your response is "another over paid player?" what? he's criminally underpaid currently, and the article was about potentially accepting less.

you are incredibly weird.

Weird is you believing Parsons and not accepting the reality of our GM who will make him the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL.
Guess you also believe in Santa Ho Ho Ho........

whether i believe it or not is not the issue. you calling someone overpaid who is on a rookie contract, and asking "whats the surprise here" when you clearly had no clue what you were talking about. it's cool though. comprehending is hard.

i'd be interested in you fleshing it out. who you'd get and what they'd do. while of course also losing arguably the best pass rushers in the game.

Trade him for enough ammo to get possibly 3 or 4 starters in the draft and use the money to supplement other areas of need. Overshown gives us what we thought we were drafting with parsons. When you consider the draft picks and the money, you are saying Parsons is worth almost as much as the rest of the entire defense. Yet we’ve seen multiple teams go entire games without even having to punt vs Micah. A cheap run stuffing DT might have been just as, if not more effective in half the games ie GB, Baltimore, Philly and HOU. On top of that he’s probably a cancer.

gotcha. so not a real plan that you can put names / values to. just get starters and supplement d. cool.

what is it that overshown is giving that they didn't get with parsons? and is it more valuable than what they actually got?

and lastly we did get cheap run stuffing dt's. it didn't help.

i am saying micah is worth what he's worth, i'm more comfortable in having his talent than entrusting the joneses to replace it, and think he and overshown can form a dynamic duo.

Nah. On any given play they either run or pass. He has deficiencies on close to half the plays to start the game because the position he chooses to play. I don’t know how you can justify leaving high picks on the table to pay him that much. There are always guys who can help your roster Derick Henry for example but even if the cowboys forever believe overspending in FA for a position which improve your odds of winning a title in the now won’t work, they could retain pieces like Dorance or Pollard or Tyron rather than relying on rookies or marginal nfl players. He’s a pass rushing LB who wants to be paid for sacks and pressures. I get it, and that’s the culture Jerry brings. I also know we won’t ever win a SB with Micah at DE because running the ball and stopping the run is how you control the clock which give you the consistency needed for a playoff run. We either blow teams out or get blown out.

I already explained how I justify it. I think he's worth it, and I don't trust the Joneses to replace him. With "high picks" (he's the best player they've drafted in a decade) and certainly not in FA. You're grossly exaggerating his rush d limitations, and under valuing his rush ability. That's fine, that's your opinion, but I don't share it or agree whatsoever. I'm of the belief adding a DT in the first round or two, mazi continuing to progress, another year of kneeland etc, and the run D is improved organically.

I would expect a pretty high pick. CD, Zack, Tyron, Micah, whatever you think of the zeke pick. But they haven’t had many misses inside the top 17 or so.

So we get a first and a fourth..

Jerry trades the fourth for a punter then goes and picks another Mazi.

No thanx.. I would rather keep Micah.

You know...*takes a toke*...

very smart people are often the MOST impressionable. He's been duped by Jerry because he shares the same afflication that many glib/well-spoken/"intelligent" people have - ARROGANCE.

He thinks he's too smart to be beguiled by an ole coot...see Anakin and Palpatine. Palpatine is using you dummy...*smh*...if only Micah knew...
