PFT: Parsons won't do on field activities without contract extensions

I’d like to think so also , I don’t think Jerry wants to pay him
Jerry is the guy that stretches out the negotiations every time...ending up having to pay much more in the end, but fights to save the interest on the signing bonus. It makes no sense. He is paying Dak much more than he ever should have, he is will be paying Parsons $5-10m more per year than he would have if he had just got the deal done early. He ends up resetting the market on EVERY big deal because he holds out until the last minute. It would be fine if there wasn't a salary cap...but throwing away cap dollars every year because you delay the deals then just gives them the excuse that they don't have cap space. Yet it is their fault...completely.

Exactly.
Exactly. Like it or not. He is the defense’s leader. And he is playing the court of public opinion game very well…saying the right things, showing up for voluntary work, talking about wanting to be ready in game one. And then dumb dumb and son are saying it isn’t important to get him signed anytime soon.

There is no reason to get it signed now. The longer it’s dragged out the longer fans and the media talk about it. Keeps Dallas in the spotlight. Jerry 101

Give little man child Micah some milk and cookies...and a one way ticket out of town! This player is going to be trouble for as long as he is a Cowboy and gets his money.

Asking for money before working out for the team is what he is all about first, however, he can go water skiing, rasling with a Sumo, punking around with his other friends and talking into his little plastic microphone, but he won't practice until he gets...mo, mo, mo money.

By the way, did I tell any of you on this forum, I really do not like this kid.

There is no way he performs to the level of the contract he believes he deserves. DWare situation all over again. He'll play a few years, get cut for cap reasons, and play on a cheaper contract somewhere else and win a SB. Probably the Eagles. They should trade him now.

What a great ‘leader’
Yet another huge stone tied to the next of this franchise after Dak and Diggs

If he literally just matches his production from the first 4 years he will have outplayed the deal he gets.

Very unlikely once he signs on the dotted line. Even if he did, the Cowboys still wouldn't have a Super Bowl. This team needs to be retooled. The fastest path is to trade him for draft picks and find a way out from under Dak's contract. Granted, the FO would still need to make the right picks, and there's no guarantee that they will, but continuing down this path gets you a middle of the road team that will win nothing and have mid to low round draft picks.

But he said he wasn't about all the money....except that was a lie. 100% his agent stepped in and said this is how we fleece the clowns. Hold out untill a new contract is done, which will be after all the other big contracts are done so Micah can set a new high for DE right before game 1.

.....he wants to get paid, so to blast it on his PoddyBox. #look@megeneration

Then when game is on the line. Some Rook will take him out of the play.

But it's Jerry's money, not ours.
